Présentation
San Francisco Bay Area native lan is a tenor based in New York. Recently, lan performed as
Ferrando in Vienna Opera Festival's production of Così fan tutte, and as the Hunter in Rusalka at the
Manhattan School of Music.
lan has performed the role of Roméo in Gounod's
Roméo et Juliette with the Utah Valley Opera Festival. lan also made his debut with Pocket Opera in San
Francisco where he covered Fenton in their production of The Merry Wives of Windsor by Otto Nicolai.
Other past performances include performing as the
FBI Agent in the Manhattan School of Music's production of An American Dream, Le Doyen de la Faculté in Utah Vocal Arts Academy's production of
Cendrillon, a vocal soloist in Craig Hella Johnson's
Considering Matthew Shepard, and Jack in Stephen
Sondheim's Into the Woods. Ian has also been seen internationally at Igreja Santa Catarina in Portugal while singing Mozart's Coronation Mass as the tenor soloist.

With a special focus on vocal improvisation and the interaction between band and singer. This course will be implemented giving you access to 3 booklets about Scat Improvisation vocabulary and technique Davide wrote at Berklee School Of Music for the Danilo Perez Foundation Workshops he tough.
