En passant par la répertoire de l'époque de la Renaissance au Baroque et par l'improvisation et l'ornementation, on explorera le jeu à la viole de gambe (au dessus, ténor ou à la basse de viole).

Een doorgewinterde en gepassioneerde muzikant sinds mijn 15e, ik gaf mijn eerste lessen meer dan 10 jaar geleden. Ik ben een uitstekende pedagoog en ik pas me aan het niveau van de student aan, of het nu gaat om de technische beheersing van het instrument, het vermogen om noten (of tablatuur) te lezen, maar ook om de muziektheorie en de theorie te begrijpen. Ik stel mezelf ten dienste van de student, zijn niveau en zijn smaak en muzikale projecten. Ik heb een grondige kennis van muziektheorie, met name in de jazz, en een lange ervaring in het samenspelen (jazz, rock en progressieve metal). Zo kan ik de student de theoretische elementen aanreiken die hij nodig heeft om zich zijn instrument volledig toe te eigenen, in zijn eigen tempo, en om in een groep te spelen, baslijnen te bedenken, te improviseren en stukken te componeren.

De bas is het belangrijkste instrument in elk muzikaal ensemble, of het nu in jazz, rock, blues, funk, metal of pop is. Ze is de maatstaf voor alle andere muzikanten, ze definieert zowel ritme als harmonie, en ze laat letterlijk de lichamen van de luisteraars trillen.

La trompette est un instrument formidable. Je propose donc d'initier celles.eux qui seraient intéressé.e.s ainsi qu'apporter mon aide aux personnes qui sont déjà familières de cet instrument. Cela fait 14 ans que je pratique cet instrument, dont 10 en conservatoire, et je ne m'en suis jamais lassé.

Ma façon d'enseigner est surtout basée sur la gestion de son souffle et le développement de son oreille musicale, avec des exercices de respiration, d'écoute, de technique etc.
Ainsi, ma méthode convient tout autant aux jeunes enfants ayant l'envie d'apprendre cet instrument, qu'aux personnes plus âgées.

Mon but est de faire progresser l'élève sans décourager ou surcharger de travail. Que l'envie d'apprendre perdure.

À l'appui, je peux prêter des manuels et partitions (même si je recommande vivement d'avoir les siens) ainsi qu'enseigner la lecture musicale.

Mijn naam is Elliott en ik geef nu ongeveer 13 jaar drum- en percussieles. Ik heb twee masterdiploma's: één in slagwerk en één in muziekpedagogiek. Ik kom uit Canada, dus ik spreek Engels en Frans als moedertaal en ik spreek ook Duits (C2) en Nederlands (B1).

Ik voel me op mijn gemak bij het lesgeven in elke stijl van drums of percussie op elk niveau. Ik kan alles leren, van notatie, zichtlezen, improvisatie, geavanceerde technieken, enz.

Tijdens onze lessen leren we de basis van het drummen (de eerste beginselen), werken we aan coördinatie en werken we samen om muziek te leren die jij leuk vindt.
