Ik ben een rustige en geduldige docent, die lesgeeft vanuit het referentiekader van de student. Ik baseer mijn methodiek op de voorkennis en de leerstijlen van de student. De ene student leert het beste door te luisteren, de andere student leert door de lesstof uit te voeren en de ander leert het beste door middel van visualisatie. Hier speel ik altijd op in.
Verder ben ik heel erg gericht op de effectiviteit van mijn lessen. Daarom bespreek ik vooraf jouw les en leerdoelen: wat moet je kunnen en kennen als je mijn les hebt gehad. Deze doelen worden ook aan het eind van elke les geëvalueerd, zodat we de voortgang van de lessen kunnen monitoren en de kwaliteit ervan bewaken.

- Lerarenopleiding gezondheidszorg en Welzijn. Dit is een opleiding op HBO niveau. Ik heb hier ook biologie gedaan.
- Post- hbo opleiding Leraar NT2.
- Master Pedagogiek.

Ik sta al 20 jaar voor de klas als docent in het voortgezet onderwijs. Daarvan geef ik al 10 jaar nt2 onderwijs.
Ik begeleid ook al een aantal jaren studenten succesvol met hun scripties.
