I absolutely love it when my students really get to understand maths and statistics and associate the concepts with her/his daily life and area of expertise. Some formulas are indeed important and the student must learn them by heart, but we are not storage devices! Once you dive into it, you will realize that maths (applied or not) wants nothing but a defiant and rebel mind. "Question and prove everything", that is the motto! Maths teaches us that we cannot accept any statement - but we must also remain humble and cautious. As a tutor, I will try to show you that discipline and a bit of fun can work together in your learning process.

Currently a civil engineering student at KU Leuven, I offer math and science courses for all levels and ages. Whether you're struggling at school or preparing for the math Olympics, or nervous for the engineering entrance exam, I'm here for you.
I offer personalized monitoring for each student with an approach adapted to different profiles. My lessons are not focused on dry and indigestible theory, but more on the understanding of key concepts on the one hand, and on the other hand assimilation via exercises chosen according to the student.

I graduated from one on the top french engineering school (ESPCI) where I studied applied mathematics, physics and chemistry. I gave lessons to students from high school but also university students for several years. I can adapt the lesson according to the student needs: it can be homework help as well as going over a subject, but also to go further than what the student has been taught in classes.
I can give exercices between the different lessons and the student can contact me if he or she has questions or an issue with his or her homework.

I can teach in english and in french but not in dutch.

I am a university researcher and instructor with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. I am able to provide one-on-one guidance for a range of topics in mathematics (algebra, geometry, calculus, discrete math, functions and modeling), natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology), and engineering (fluid dynamics, applied programming, signal analysis, optimization).

My typical teaching strategy follows three steps:
1) developing an understanding of the subject theory
2) introducing real-world applications of the theory
3) repeating exercises related fundamental concepts and applications

This can be a challenge for many students, especially in the third grade. In my lesson I try to explain the subject matter to students based on their own course, my old course and extra exercises.
