I bring the best out of students. Working with young people from vulnerable backgrounds as well as with special educational needs I have come to realise that my teaching methods are very intuative and based around listening to the individual and building on their strengths. With a vivid imagination and creativity I make my sessions interesting and relevant to the individual. I am happy to lead sessions in playwrighting, to use voice acting methods to improve speech and to build individuals confidence and ability to achieve. So far I have a 100% success rate for any students doing their exams in english or german.

English speaking and creative writing. Playwrighting!

Published playwright, with lots of experience teaching and working with young people and adult learners. I have worked as a writing facilitator attached to high profile theatres in London working in primary schools, with young professionals and at colleges. Additionally I lead a creative writing course at Oxford and Reading College. I have tutored many students in building confidence in speaking and writing. I have also found myself specialising in enabling children with learning difficulties gain confidence and find creative solutions to help the learning process. I am currently working on new writing commissions and basing myself in Brussels tutoring and leading creative writing workshops is something I enjoy doing alongside my projects. Theatre's I have worked with include Pegasus Oxford, Tricycle/Kiln Theatre, National Theatre Studio, Hampstead Theatre, North Wall Arts Centre.

Le néerlandais et l'allemand sont deux langues qui posent beaucoup de problèmes aux novices de par leur grammaire complexe. Mon but est d'épauler mes élèves dans l'apprentissage de ces langues complexes en les faisant réfléchir par eux-mêmes. I have a background in political science, I studied in France and Germany. After my studies, I worked in the European institutions. My working languages have mainly been English, French and German. I master these three languages at a professional level.

For Dutch, I learned it when I arrived in Belgium and used it in private settings. This is why I prefer to give Dutch lessons to beginners or as tutoring to carry out the exercises with the student.

Teaching experience:
To finance my studies, I gave private lessons to secondary school students in different subjects, including languages. I have a great taste for sharing knowledge and interaction.
