I'm Gavin and I love teaching musicians young and old to develop their abilities and competency in music. The guitar is my first Instrument but I have developed a significant amount of work playing a Slide Guitar. Primarily on an instrument most commonly referred to and Dobro, it's actually called a Resonophonic Square Neck Guitar. I have been playing music for nearly 34 years. I have been successfully teaching students a variety of slide styles and instruments for 15 years.
I graduated with a 1st BA(Hons) Degree in Music from Salfrord University (2001) I have a wealth of experience, academic teaching, out playing and session experience. I provide professional tuition catered to your needs. If your unable to easily travel to me I can provide online tuition. A video of your lesson can be arranged for a charge.

I also teach a variety of instruments. Including Guitar(all types),Bass, Mandolin, Dobro, Lap-Steel, Tenor Banjo, Clarinet ,Piano. Along with instrumental tuition I teach songwriting and composition & Arranging.

If you are interested in online lesson there are a variety of ways this might be done. I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I'm a music teacher( flutist, pianist) that graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Classical Music).
I teach flute or piano lessons to students of all age and level.
Moreover, I have always loved different genres of music, so if you are interested in pop music, I am up for that too!

To share my passion for music is the best feeling, I love to teach students how to play their instruments and express their emotions and musicality.

I don't have the same program for all my students, as I think every student is different, learns differently, has different interests...etc.

So, instead of a rigid curriculum in which you lose interest in a short time, I would like to support you in achieving your personal plans and discovering musical possibilities!

Depending on your interests, motivation, previous knowledge and musical taste, the following focal points are coordinated:

Classes take place either in my studio in Kreuzberg, equipped with 2 CDJs, 2 vinyl decks, a professional mixer, and a full sound system, or online with a new technic I developed for a immersive learning experience. Sessions are followed by review sheets and homework assignments.
They are a mix of theory and practice, covering not just technical skills but also the artistic and performance aspects of DJing, with plenty of pro tips and creative insights to help you build your identity as a DJ.
