In order to regain confidence in one's ability to learn and memorize, it is important to put in place good tools.
From the very first lessons, I observe how students keep their notebooks: corrections made, worksheets glued in, handwriting. Then I assign homework, and based on that, we review the basics if necessary, or I help them understand the instructions. Finally, we work on how mistakes are perceived, transforming them into opportunities for success. It's okay to make mistakes, and we take the risk of writing something "silly" in order to discover where the error begins. Once the initial difficulty is overcome, learning gradually becomes seen as a game, an investigation to conduct in science subjects, or a story to construct and understand in literature.
Through mind maps created by the student himself: the learner appropriates knowledge more easily because he develops his own visual codes, he makes sense by creating his own tools.
Thus, the student is ready to invest themselves to prepare as best as possible for an exam, whether it be the brevet, the bac or a competition.
