Don't hesitate, reserve Kevin's time: the biology course reviewed with Kevin was a fairly difficult subject which required study "by rote" whereas my son rather likes subjects which require logic.
Kevin “translated” the material first into everyday language with lots of examples. This approach made the course understandable and exhilarating. He then linked the different chapters together allowing a succession of actions and events and thus facilitating understanding and therefore more use of logic than simple rote learning as a learning method. Ultimately, he applied the technical language used in the biology course because what is ultimately required for the exam.
