Hello :)
My method of teaching always relies first on connecting to the emotions and sensations in the body of the moment - here and now!
I tackle all aspects of vocal technique, from the very production of sound to questions of interpretation, including breathing, jaw, tongue, posture, resonance, etc.
Then come the vocalizations, phrasing, interpretation, and connection with the sound and belly ... and the real emotions, we will be working only on a repertoire that gives you genuine and authentic pleasure :)
Finding genuine joy and inspiration in singing is one of the most important qualities that will allow your body to follow naturally in a liberated way!
I’m very open-minded and can easily adapt to your requests.
Extra information
I like to work on the semi-occluded vocal exercises that have a therapeutic influence on the vocal cords and resonance. So I'd ask You for a straw (of course not the plastic one ! :) ) and half full -small bottle of water.

About Me
Hello:)
My name is Julia and I was trained at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel until 2019 under the direction of Jose Van Dam. I had previously obtained Master of arts with distinction in Vocal and Acting Department at the Fryderic Chopin University in Warsaw.
In recent years, I have been lucky enough to be able to sing in great places such as the Opéra Bastille, the Opéra de la Monnaie, at the Bozar, at Flagey or for the Royal family of Belgium during the Christmas Concert at the Royal Palace. .
In addition to opera and melody, I approach jazz and pop with equal pleasure. In Poland for several years I was part of Frozen Bird, an electronic chamber-pop group.
I have always seen music as the vibration of a sound to be shared with the world. Today I will be very happy to be able to also pass on my knowledge and my love of singing through teaching.

Bonjour:)

Oprócz opery i pieśni z wielką przyjemnością wykonuję i uczę muzyki rozrywkowej, jazzu, popu.
Education
Master of Arts with Distinction in Vocal and Acting department of The Chopin University of Music, Warsaw, Poland
Artist Diploma in Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Waterloo, Belgium
Experience / Qualifications
I was studying in Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where I graduated as a Master with Distinction from singing of Professor Ryszard Cieśla at the opera singing and acting department.
In the meantime, I got to The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo, Belgium, where I studied under the tutelage of Master Jose Van Dam and outstanding coaches such as Jocelyne Dienst, Alain Garichot, Helene Lucas and Philippe Riga. In the meantime, I was able to gain experience appearing in many places in Europe (France, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Norway, etc.)
I performed in Brussels soprano part in the Oratorio Messiah by G. F. Haendel at the Royal Palace for the Royal Family under the direction of Bart Van Reyn.
In 2015 I took part in the Mozart Academy at the Festival Aix En Provence.
In 2016, one of my most important and beautiful parts was role of The Cunning Little Vixen in the amphitheater of the Opera de Bastille in Paris, directed by Charlotte Nessi, under the music direction of Denis Comtet.
During the summer 2017 and 2018 I performed role of Zerlina from the Opera Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart with Justiniana Company-in the region of France Franche- Comté also directed by Charlotte Nessi, under the baton of Javier González Novales.
In 2016, I sang the soprano part in Mozart's Requiem (KV 626), under the baton of Hervé Niquet, the Phylo part in the opera Penelope by Gabriel Faure, in collaboration with La Monnaie - under the musical direction of Maestro Michel Plasson.
In 2017, I performed oratorio The Creation of J. Haydn at the Much Waterloo festival, conducted by Bart Van Reyn.
In the same year, I performed soprano part in Ein Deutsches Requiem by J. Brahms under the direction of Giancarlo Guerrero with Brussels Philharmonic. I finished my musical education at Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel by singing Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with Ensemble Les Muffattis.
In 2018, I graduated from Chapel with the title of Associated Artist which will be honoured by the Artist Diploma concert in 2020.
From 2018 till 2019, I took part as second cast of Eurydice in the opera creation Orfeo & Majnun - co-production of La Monnaie opera house and Festival Aix En Provence and Vienna Konzerthaus.
In September and October 2019 I performed roles of Tinagiles and Alladine in the contemporary Opera composed and conducted by Benjamin Attahir, under the stage direction of Olivier Lexa in La Monnaie in Brussels.
Due to Coronavirus i discovered immense pleasure in teaching, and as i still continue with my artistic path, i definitely would like to continue with giving classes as i love people, interaction, joy that music brings us and can't lie- being previleged to be present in the process of rediscovering (as children we had it all!) potential of the human's voice is quite an experience :) .

This course is for all those who want to sing and whatever their level, age, history! The desire and the pleasure of singing must be the first motivation!

Actress, singer and author I developed my musical practice (jazz singing, voice work, piano) parallel to my studies of theater at Insas and music at Lemmensinstituut. Next to the artistic projects that I lead (ROSA - Brazilian music - jazz - French song); Foëhn (jazz, world music), I taught the musical awakening from 2015 to 2017 at the school of music Blanches and Black and gives since the beginning of the 2018 the course of vocal training for students actors of the "Cours Florent" in Brussels and I propose on the other hand courses of songs and a work of the voice in individual or collective.

The sessions last 1 hour and can be held in groups or individually.
We always start with breathing, relaxation and inking exercises and then explore our tool with a few exercises before going to work on a piece if the student wishes. We then search together for the right tone and then dissect the melody and the text for personal interpretation. (Possibility also to work texts for reading!)

Let's go to meet this wonderful tool that we use constantly but know so little: the voice and more precisely the voice sung!

Graduated in composition and Orchestration and in the art of theater and directing, having a Master in Musical Theater at the Sorbonne University Paris and a doctorate of advanced research in the art of singing and musical interpretation , I propose singing and interpretation lessons, based on the understanding and implementation of the Belt technique (breathing, voice placement, flexibility of diaphragmal pressure, diction) and a practical application of the theatrical method from Stanislavski for a thorough understanding and discovery of the theatrical interpretation of songs.

The course consists of two or three parts:

1. A warm-up with various exercises, with the aim of widening the range, developing the breathing and understanding the mechanism of the phonator device.

2. Practical work on a song with eclectic choice.

3. A part of learning music theory and reading of score, if necessary.

I work with you, putting a lot of emphasis on discovering or developing your voice at your own pace.

I can also propose:

2. Music interpretation course (we work on the game and the construction of a character, the emotion of the song, the nuances)

3. Theater course (Actor's Studio method) - (we work on the body expression, the scenic presence, the connection between thought and action on stage),

4. Course of musical theory and solfege (the bases of the musical theory to be able to read and follow a partition),

5. Preparation course for castings and auditions (work on psychological preparation, stress management, choice of pieces and cutting, etc.).

The price quoted is per course

We try to work on different songs as often as possible to keep it as fun as possible !
I can also help you on writing/interpreting your own songs if you are into writing !

This course is intended for beginners (of all ages) and music students (up to the age of 18) wishing to discover, learn or develop their singing technique.
I offer early learning lessons for children (up to 11 years old) that can be done in groups of up to three people. The learning revolves around the discovery of different musical styles, the development of the relative ear, the basics of singing techniques and of course the interpretation of a varied repertoire.
I advise families able to consider group lessons, music is an essentially social practice and the practice with several facilitates its learning with children. (the price of group lessons is also cheaper).
The awakening classes for adults (from 12 years old) are structured in the same way as the awakening for children with an emphasis on vocal technique, and a more advanced repertoire.
Lessons for singers in conservatories are more specific depending on the student. It will be possible to approach modern and ancient singing techniques. Detail music history issues in repertoires. Prepare for competitions or concerts. Work on the pronunciation and so-called “old” interpretation of pieces in this repertoire.

I am a professional singer and musician, since I was 15 years old and I traveled the world with my music, the stage is like my second skin.
I was a student of Professor ERIC TAVELLI (who himself was a student of Luciano PAVAROTTI) he taught me everything.

Whether you sing Rock, Jazz, Rap, R'N'B, Soul, Musical Comedy, Opera, World Music... A unique vocal technique adapted to each artistic and vocal personality, to go even further while respecting your style.

My goal is to teach students all the possibilities they can have with their voice.
I teach students to place their voice in the resonance cavities
To understand their diaphragm, the column of air.
I will make you work on your breath.
Positioning of the voice in the mask.
Put your voice in emotions.
And I could help you with the interpretation of your repertoire, if you have one.

Passionate about the performing arts since childhood, I first studied the violin, then dance and theater to finally combine time with lyrical singing.
I studied musical comedy and then opera in various courses including the National Conservatory of Music in Paris.
I have been giving private lessons for several years and I have created several musical shows with amateur adults in associative settings.
Each voice is unique! I really work according to the stamp, the level, the personality of each one. I am convinced that voice work, in addition to being beautiful and pleasant, helps us to gain self-confidence, develops our imagination, helps to let off steam and unburden ourselves of all that we experience on a daily basis!
I adapt to the desires and objectives of everyone: the actor wanting to add a color to his palette, the lawyer wanting to calmly work on his voice, the student wanting to sing in the evening, all workers wanting to sing to let off steam, for all people who are convinced they don't know how to sing...

In the program :
singing technique, breathing, body awareness, discovery of repertoire...

The clarinet is a single-reed musical instrument in the woodwind family, with a nearly cylindrical bore and a flared bell.

Clarinets comprise a family of instruments of differing sizes and pitches. The clarinet family is the largest woodwind family, ranging from the BB♭ contrabass to the E♭ soprano. The B♭ soprano clarinet is the most common type, and is the instrument usually indicated by the word "clarinet".

German instrument maker Johann Christoph Denner is generally credited with inventing the clarinet sometime around the year 1700 by adding a register key to the chalumeau, an earlier single-reed instrument. Over time, additional keywork and airtight pads were added to improve the tone and playability. Today the clarinet is a standard fixture of the orchestra and concert band and is used in classical music, military bands, klezmer, jazz, and other styles.

Exploring the voice, revealing the being.

The individual singing lessons offered are inspired by the approach of the Roy Hart Theatre, where the voice is much more than a simple tool: it is a deep and personal expression of our identity and our states of mind.

During lessons, we address the technical and physical aspects of singing (breathing, posture, volume, articulation, etc.) in a personalized way. I offer a joyful, sensitive, and creative approach to breath and vocal work, enhanced by practices from operatic singing and mindfulness.

Whether you're a beginner or experienced, come discover and develop your voice in a supportive and stimulating environment. All musical styles are welcome.
