Hoe het werkt:
- Geef vooraf door in welke groep je zit en met welk(e) onderwerp(en) je moeite hebt
- Ik bekijk in de les hoe je de sommen oplost en wat er fout gaat
- Ik leg je stap voor stap uit hoe je de som op dient te lossen, passend bij jouw niveau
- Ik doe voor hoe je de som oplost
- Daarna is het jouw beurt: je laat zien wat je geleerd hebt. Ik geef je feedback.

Aangenaam en leuk dat je op mijn site bent beland!

Ik ben Casey. Momenteel ben ik volgens de kalender 29 jaren jong. Ik ben woonachtig in het levendige Papendrecht (Zuid-Holland). Ik woon samen met mijn vriend en twee lieve katten en ben zwanger van mijn eerste kindje.

Begin 2018 ben ik cum laude afgestudeerd aan de pabo van Hogeschool Rotterdam. Op de pabo heb ik mij geprofileerd in de vakken beeldend (2D, 3D en 4D), wetenschap en technologie (onderzoekend en ontwerpend leren) - toegespitst op een duurzame toekomst - en heb ik de minor ‘taalspecialist op de basisschool’ behaald. Voor mijn afstudeeronderzoek heb ik mij verdiept in de 21st century skills.
Tijdens mijn studie heb ik gewerkt als eindredacteur en heb ik voornamelijk scripties en bedrijfswebsites geredigeerd.

Na het afstuderen ben ik meteen aan de slag gegaan op het voortgezet onderwijs als Docent Nederlands op het vwo voor een zwangerschapsvervanging. Hier kwam ik erachter dat ik het erg prettig vind om verschillende klassen les te geven en dat meer flexibiliteit wel degelijk mogelijk is in het onderwijs.

Sinds oktober 2018 werk ik met veel plezier als zelfstandig inval- en interimleerkracht en digidocent in het basisonderwijs. Hierdoor heb ik al veel ervaring met invalwerk op verschillende soorten scholen in verschillende groepen en ben ik bekend met zo goed als alle bestaande methodes. Ook kan ik prima digitaal lesgeven met bijvoorbeeld Snappet en Basispoort. Methodeloos werken vind ik daarentegen heerlijk: ik gooi graag mijn creativiteit in de strijd en ben inmiddels meester in improvisatie.

Daarnaast was ik anderhalf jaar vóór de coronacrisis al bekwaam in afstandsonderwijs: inmiddels heb ik al veel ervaring met Teams, Zoom en Meet. Online lesgeven gaat mij dan ook zeer gemakkelijk af.

Eind 2019 heb ik een cursus gevolgd over hoogbegaafdheid in het onderwijs en momenteel ben ik naast mijn werkzaamheden als invaller bezig met verschillende literatuur- en schrijfcursussen.
