I offer tutoring in qualitative and quantitative research methods for the Social Sciences, as well as essay and academic writing support. Drawing on my academic background and professional experience, I can assist students with:

With a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (cum laude) from Leiden University and two Research Master’s degrees—one in Political Communication and one in Political Science—I have a strong foundation in research and academic writing. As a current Teaching Assistant at the University of Amsterdam, I have hands-on experience guiding university students in these areas. Additionally, my work as an Honours Ambassador and Information Officer at Leiden University honed my skills in supporting students at various academic levels.

My name is Francesca, and I am half Italian and half British, though I was born and raised in Italy. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Leiden University, where I graduated cum laude.

Currently, I am completing a Research Master's program in Political Communication at the University of Amsterdam and a one-year Master's in Political Science at Leiden University. With a strong academic background in Political and Communication Science, coupled with practical expertise in essay writing and research methods, I am well-equipped to tutor high school and university students in their coursework and help them achieve their academic goals. Moreover, my role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Amsterdam has equipped me with specialized expertise in tutoring university students.

Additionally, I offer English and Italian lessons for all levels, including preparation for language certifications.

I have extensive experience tutoring students in Latin, Ancient Greek, English and Social Sciences. During my Bachelor’s studies, I worked as an Honours Ambassador and Information Officer at Leiden University, where I gained valuable skills in guiding prospective students through their orientation process and supporting high school students in their academic journey. English Tutor and preparation for the IELTS certification

I am tutoring university students and adults in English and help them prepare for any test they might have to take (for example, a university test that is required to go in exchange). Among the official English test, I am qualified to help prepare students for the IELTS test.
As I am both Italian both British and I have done all of my bachelor degree in English I am qualified to teach english.

School tutor for elementary, middle and high school students

I am currently in the final year of my bachelor at the University of Amsterdam, and am originally from London, UK.

I specialise in helping students improve their formal English language skills, which can be used for essay writing, CV/Resume writing and motivation letters. Furthermore, I also help students improve their business english and help to build up confidence in their professional environment.
