Dear students,
My name is Giacomo and I hold two Master of Arts in Music Performance, one in Rome and one from the "Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste" in Zurich.
During my class lessons you'll learn the wonderful art of playing the violin, an incredible instrument! I have many years of experience with teaching, I do private lessons and I have worked as a teacher for "Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy in Lugano" for several years. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin. As a pedagogue, after one month experience in a meditation retreat in Thailand, my approach involves not only focusing on the technical development of the instrument but also paying close attention to the physical and mental well-being of my students. I incorporate meditation and yoga as key elements to ensure a pleasant and optimal experience with the instrument and with oneself.

Giacomo is a young violinist who combines his passion for classical music with a deep interest in the psychological and meditative dimensions of musical experience. His artistic vision is based on the belief that music is not only a performing art but also a tool for personal growth and inner well-being. In his artistic journey, Giacomo constantly explores the intersection between violin technique and mental awareness, bringing particular attention to emotional connection with the audience in his concerts. His practice of meditation profoundly influences his approach to musical interpretation, allowing him to achieve greater expressive depth and authenticity in his performances. Along with his activity as a violinist, Giacomo nurtures a passion for conducting, which represents another fascinating way for him to express his musical sensibility.

Born in Rome, Giacomo graduated with top marks and honors from the Conservatory of Music “Santa Cecilia” in Rome, where he studied under Professor Marco Fiorini. He furthered his studies in Switzerland with Marco Rizzi in Lugano and Rudolf Koelman in Zurich, pursuing his second Master’s degree at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. Furthermore, in 2022, he began studying conducting with Professor Marc Kissoczy.
His musical education has been enriched through masterclasses, courses, and lectures with renowned teachers including Nora Chastain, Daniel Sepec, Marco Fiorini, Marco Rizzi, Alberto Mina, Paolo Piomboni, David Romano, Alberto Mina, Martin Löhr, Eckart Heiligers, Roberto Gonzalez Monjas, Christoph Whiting, Ulf Schneider.
Giacomo has been awarded prizes in several national and international competitions, including the International Kiwanis Competition, International Competition Syntonia, and the Crescendo International Prize in Florence. He served as Konzertmeister of the Youth Orchestra of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, performing in prestigious events and venues alongside eminent conductors and musicians such as Antonio Pappano, Salvatore Accardo, Giovanni Sollima, Mario Brunello, Fabio Biondi, Sumi Jo, and 2Cellos.
He is currently member of the followings orchestras: Roma Tre Orchestra, World Youth Orchestra, ZHdK Strings, Silkroad Chamber Soloists, United Soloists, National Orchestra of Italian Conservatories, Fames Institute Orchestra, Animato Foundation Orchestra.
Giacomo maintains an active career as both soloist and chamber musician. He performs on a Petrit Kopsaj’s violin made in 2019.

I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I'm in my third bachelor's degree. I have been taking harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. During this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. Including the second prize in the Concours Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège.

These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start using harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student.
Note learning lessons are also adjusted as much as possible to the student's pace.
