Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

Cathy started her music teaching career in 2015, and has been teaching students from beginner to grade 8, aged from 6 to 35 years old. She always welcomes students who wish to explore more about music, building up playing the flute as their hobby, as well as growing together with them as their role models. She feels very glad and blessed to be the teacher of her students, as well as being their sister, witnessing their growth and becoming a good friend to them. In the lesson, she would always love to play studies, and exercise, as well as play flute pieces and duets together with the students. To broaden their horizons, she would love to share different music recordings, as well as discuss the music together during the lesson. Cathy believes that it is essential for students to step out of the classroom to learn music, rather than just playing the flute. During years of teaching, she has encountered students taking different examination grades. Cathy understands the importance of choosing the pieces for students, she would love to demonstrate pieces and discuss the preferences with the students together. As the mode of having examinations has varied these years, she has already adapted to preparing students for the exams under different situations. Gladly, most of her students could attain merit or even distinction under her tutelage.

Hello! I'm Anastasiia, an Ukrainian flautist. I really enjoy teaching and performing, and I have previous experience as a flute teacher back in Ukraine, Poland and China, so I would like to have some new online students here. I can also help you with other music stuff like theory and solfege if you want that. Querflötenunterricht von einem diplomierten Musikpädagogen und Konzertflötisten, der bereits seit 30 Jahren, und mehr als 200 SchülerInnen und StudentInnen mit erfolg unterrichtet hat. Der Unterrichtsstoff ist immer Personalisiert, und reicht vom Barock und Klassik bis Jazz und Improvisation. Die Stunden dauern ca 65 Minuten. Im lauf der Stunden ist das wichtigste, dass das Musizieren auch beim Lernen Spaß macht. Willkommen sind sowohl Anfänger (die noch nicht Noten lesen können), als auch Professionelle die ebenfalls ein Diplom haben. Gerne sind erwartet natürlich die Neuanfänger, die einmal das Instrument schon gelernt haben, danach aber mehrere Jahre nicht mehr in der Hand gehabt. Ganz regelmäßig spielen wir auch miteinander - natürlich ganz freiwillig - um schöne Kammermusik wie Duos, Trios und Quartets zusammen zu spielen.

La técnica es importante, pero se enseñará simultáneamente con la voz artística. Una de las mejores cosas de la música es poder expresar tu versión de ti mismo en tu instrumento. ¿De qué sirve aprender escalas si no puedes tocar la canción que quieres tocar? Desde el primer día, nos centraremos en todos los aspectos del aprendizaje y de la música al mismo tiempo. Soy muy paciente y me encanta enseñar, y adaptaré mi estilo de enseñanza a cada estudiante. ¡Espero poder enseñarte! Sobre mi: Empecé a tocar música cuando tenía diez años. Obtuve una beca parcial para la Escuela de Música Lionel Hampton de la Universidad de Idaho, donde me especialicé en Interpretación de Saxofón Clásico, donde gané el premio al Solista de Jazz Destacado (2004). Luego recibí una beca parcial para Berklee College of Music y estudié allí con un instrumento principal, el saxofón, y me gradué en Escritura y Producción Contemporánea en 2009. He pasado los últimos diez años actuando a tiempo completo, en cruceros. barcos (Carnival, Princess, Holland-America, Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, The World), giras terrestres (gira nacional de iLa Mawana), producciones teatrales (For The Record: The Brat Pack, After Midnight de Broadway) y bandas independientes ( Trío Samsaya, Cuarteto Vivian Clement). Mi experiencia interpretativa me ha llevado a 70 países y los siete continentes. He autograbado y autoproducido varios álbumes. He aparecido como arreglista en muchos escenarios, incluido LOVE de Robert McFletcher. Tengo tres programas propios (A Public Saxophone and other Bedtime Stories, Just Sax y CBSAXLIVE).
