Soy un educador apasionado por la música, mis 25 años en la docencia me han llevado por caminos maravillosos de aprendizaje. Fui profesor en la Escuela secundaria de mi tierra natal Venezuela, luego emigré a Canadá donde continúo mis aventuras de Aprendizaje.

Me gusta divertirme con mis alumnos y adaptarme a sus objetivos particulares sin dejar de ser riguroso en el aprendizaje fundamental para el correcto uso de los términos y conceptos relacionados con el campo de estudios. Je lichaam is je instrument bij het zingen. We proberen dat instrument zo mooi mogelijk te laten klinken door te werken aan klankvorming. Hierdoor kunnen de stembanden vrijer bewegen, zodat je minder snel moe wordt bij het zingen. Je stem wordt voller en je kunt hogere en lagere tonen zingen.

Tijdens de zanglessen zijn we ook bezig met articulatie, de uitspraak van vreemde talen en ook aan de betekenis van en je gevoel bij een bepaald stuk. Natuurlijk bepaal jij zelf wat voor soort muziek je gaat zingen. Of je nu alleen zingt onder de douche of dat je bv. in een koor zit en je tegen bepaalde moeilijkheden op loopt in het algemeen of bij een bepaald stuk? Neem dan gerust je koorpartij mee naar de les en dan kijken we samen hoe we dat makkelijker voor je kunnen maken. We werken aan repertoire waar jij van houdt. Ook kunnen we samen een ontdekkingsreis maken naar jouw favoriete muziek.

WIE KAN ER LEREN ZINGEN?
Iedereen kan leren zingen. Door de zanglessen zal je merken dat het zingen makkelijker wordt. Bovendien is zingen goed voor ontspanning, zowel van lichaam als geest. Zingen is gewoon genieten!

JE EIGEN INSTRUMENT
Als zanger of zangeres heb je alvast één voordeel ten opzichte van instrumentalisten: je hoeft geen (duur) instrument te kopen. Jij hebt je instrument altijd bij je, maar... je moet wel goed voor je instrument zorgen!

Basgitaarlessen met een holistieke, "all-round" character.

We gaan op de lessen samen oefenen en we gaan hier jouw allerliefste liedjes voor gebruiken. Ik geloof dat als je met een stuk muziek diepe emotionele contact hebt, wordt de leerproces ook sneller, gezelliger en vloeiender!

Onze belangrijkste thema's:

- techniek en overzicht van de bas (waar?)
- algemene muziekleer, gehoortraining (waarom?)

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student.

My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

La forma en que enseño depende completamente del alumno. La forma en que explico los conceptos, planifico y estructurado las lecciones y abordo cada tema depende de si el estudiante es principiante, intermedio o avanzado, y si tiene alguna experiencia en el tema.

Soy una soprano italiana, graduada de la Academia Nacional de Ópera de Holanda. Trabajo como solista como cantante freelance, y enseño canto a estudiantes de diferentes niveles y edades durante muchos años.

Mijn naam is Abbey en ik geef les in viool en altviool aan studenten van alle leeftijden! Ik ben in 2022 afgestudeerd met een diploma muziekeducatie, maar geef sinds 2019 les, bijles en geef privélessen. Onlangs ben ik vanuit de VS naar Nederland verhuisd om mijn privéstudio te laten groeien en muziekbronnen voor anderen te creëren.

Ik heb studenten van alle leeftijden en vaardigheidsniveaus lesgegeven om hun muzikale zelfvertrouwen te vergroten en meer te leren over viool of altviool. Hoewel ik nog niet zo lang les geef, heb ik bijna 1.000 studenten lesgegeven en ik hoop dat dit aantal zal groeien.

Ik ben flexibel in hoe lessen plaatsvinden, hoe lang de lessen zijn en welke muziekstijl je graag zou willen leren.

Trompet spelen kan fijn zijn, maar ook moeilijk. Samen wil ik kijken wat we kunnen verbeteren, of welke nieuwe concepten we kunnen aanleren. Dit om meer expressie, meer stijlen, meer power of hoogte te bereiken en dat met minder moeite.
Zelf heb ik ervaring als trompettist en flugelhorn in jazz, pop, funk, bigband en klassiek. En veel als lead player.
