Hello! My name is Josh and I'm a native English speaker from Cambridge in the United Kingdom. I've been working as an English teacher since 2017 and I'm passionate about language learning and teaching. As for my teaching style, I'll ensure that you feel relaxed by being encouraging. I'll also focus on helping you to correct your mistakes and speak English in a way that's similar to a native speaker, which will improve the quality of your English communication! Rest assured that you have no need to be afraid of making mistakes because this will help you to improve your English more quickly.

Regarding my education background, I am a TEFL certified teacher and I hold a bachelor's degree in modern languages (German and Spanish). This means that I have received training in teaching English as a foreign language effectively. Furthermore, having studied German and Spanish extensively, I understand what the process of learning a new language entails and can help my students to achieve their goals.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
