Learn how to design modern, professional and user-friendly websites through practical web design lessons tailored to your experience and goals.
These lessons are suitable for beginners and developing learners who want to understand how websites are planned and designed before and during development.
Topics can include website layouts, colour and typography, navigation, responsive design, user experience (UX), user interface (UI) design, wireframes, page structure, accessibility and designing for desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
We can also explore tools such as Figma and look at how a website progresses from an initial idea through wireframes and visual designs towards a finished website.

I am a technology professional and the founder of MacDonald Digital Solutions, a digital learning business focused on making practical technology skills more accessible.
My own journey into technology involved developing skills through structured training and hands-on projects, which has given me a strong understanding of what it is like to learn technical subjects from the beginning.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and practical. I believe people learn technology best by understanding the fundamentals and then applying them through real exercises and projects rather than simply memorising information.
