The program will be tailored according to the student goals. (leisure, professional development) focusing on; basic knowledge of the guitar, basic chords and more advanced chords, scales and modes, theory and practice of improvisation, study of a repertoire, right hand technique (fingers or pick), music theory and rhythm, Logic Pro X, basic sound engineering and music production techniques and songwriting skills. An understanding of what are the goals and interests of student, as well as their skills is the most effective way to pass on knowledge.

I am guitarist and lutenist from Spain with 15 years of experience in music performance and I have taught in different music schools to students from very different ages and levels. For my lessons, neither age nor level is an impediment to teaching musicality and guitar technique. My principal aim is to unveil the intrinsic qualities of the student, in a natural and progressive way, through the enjoyment of the music. We can work on many different musical styles of classical musica and it’s different styles, languages and notation sources. On music popular styles like "flamenco" (rumbas, fandangos, alegrías, sevillanas, etc) and its different ways of strumming, scales, harmony structures and "compás". Or we can deep in the huge and fantastic world of early music through the tablatures and manuscripts from the XVI century. Whether for amateurs, advanced students, kids, young people or adults. Either for auditions, preparation for concerts, music schools, music exams, hobby or just for love of the guitar. You are all welcome to join my lessons. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. I am a double bass player based in the city of Leuven. I recently obtained my third master in music in double bass at the LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmens. I am currently working as a double bass tutti in the Brussels Philharmonic and i am the bass player of the ensembleDRE. As a double bass player i have played in different amateurs and young Orchestras like NJO, the junge-deutsch franzosische philarmonie and Futurorchestra, and with professional Orchestras like Casco Phil and Ataneres Ensemble. As a teacher i have taught pop music and electric bass in Italy. Through my experiences , concerning different kinds of music, i would like to approach the double bass and/or electric bass to people of any age. At the same time, I can offer clearly structured lessons to students of any age, interested in classical music repertoire but also in other genres as pop and rock.
