Acerca de mí
Hello i am ishira. I was a home tutor where i used to taught healthcare and fitness programs with course modules for both kids and adults. And on weekends we have a outdoor session like fun activity and yoga to keep the body fit, its totally depend on weather. The course will help you learn how to adapt and modify yoga postures, create your own super fun stories, warm ups, fun ideas and props, games, music, visualisations and affirmations and so much more to give you the tools and confidence to teach a successful Early Years Yoga class. We also have a dedicated section with tips on how to build your own yoga business into schools, nurseries and yoga studios.
Formación
BBA in marketing management from Charusat university india and currently studying MSC digital marketing from Middlesex University and i have taken a training for my body fitness.
Experiencia / Calificaciones
I have completed my bachelor BBA in marketing management and then i have start up my own session of fitness where i taught lessons related to healthcare and how to keep body fit everyday. Having spent time playing various different sports growing up, and as many of us did, running and home workouts during lockdown, I found a new love for moving my body and want to pass on this love and desire to others. I believe everyone can find a form of exercise they enjoy, and have 3 things I like to focus on with finding what works for clients:

1) To improve your mental health
2) To improve your everyday life
3) To ENJOY the exercise.

My three main areas of expertise (not necessarily in this order):

- Chess: I teach chess to beginners and intermediate players up to ELO 1800 or ECF 1700, working on the tactical and strategic aspects of openings, middle games and endgames.. "chess is life in miniature"!

- Fitness / Running / Triathlon: I coach people who want to get fitter and generally incorporate any endurance activity into a health(ier) lifestyle. I am a dedicated coach who has competed in several marathons and Ironman races (also qualified for the Ironman World Championship). I focus on nutrition, stress and sleep as well for a holistic approach.

- Languages: I specialize in tutoring Italian and Spanish; my style is to keep students challenged and motivated through simple classes and practical exercises (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary).. I'm a demanding teacher but will guide you in a fun and interactive way.

Please contact me if you have any interest in spending more time and energy in any of these 3 areas, and don't forget that "Mens Sana in Corpore Sano" is a good approach to look after yourself :)

In these neuro-divergent times, the binary division of "one language or two" in bilinguals is perhaps due some contestation, which students are capable of providing. I have always found bilingual production models (and the ubiquitous Powerpoint slide) that university teachers provide a hindrance because of their lack of explicitness and discussion - they are just not relatable as presented nor do they provide much information or examples for monolingual students.

Code-switching, a by-product of bilingualism, is now a term that is even found in minority-ethnic neighbourhood grafitti ("can white people code-switch" a found example). Please note that this is a linguistic term, used for switching between two languages, and not between local or social varieties of English.

My personal position is that there is no such thing as bilingualism: there is always a language that suffers attrition, and one language that prevails, mostly because of its prestigious standing over the other language. On the other hand, a child exposed to more than one language cannot be truly monolingual.

For this course (very popular at universities around Europe both at undergraduate and postgraduate level) we shall go through the terms used to discuss bilingualism, in detail, and then discuss, with the help of published books and articles, who can be considered bilingual (or are we all, one other language lying dormant?). Can bilingualism be defined by the speaker, instead of the "community"? Can it be imposed by the State? Does a bilingual brain function in the same manner as a monolingual brain? These are research questions that emerge as dissertation or thesis topics both at undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

This class is dedicated to all those who wish to calm the nervous system and work on rooting themselves in the present moment. Connecting with the body and its language. A combination of yoga and somatic techniques that help us understand how our body works and its relationship with the mind.

For all levels, because we're not looking for virtuosity in complicated positions, but to refine our perception, communication and understanding of our ‘total self’.

We'll use asanas and pranayama, as well as micromovements and meditation. Everyone is welcome!

A perfect class if you're going through a period of stress or a lot of mental activity or worry, if you lead a very sedentary life, or simply if you want to relax and move your body.

The purpose of those classes is education, not on the superficial level of mimicking form, but on a profoundly deep level of understanding the full use of the body as an integral whole to maximize full function of each individual's unique movement potential.

The aim is toward maximum physicality in function and overall health as well as a state of relaxation and a stimulation of the body's energy centres and meridians that is revitalising and
healing.

The benefits of yoga also include gaining flexibility and working on breathing skills concentration, balance, endurance, muscular and vital strength, as well as strengthening the nervous system and immune system.

The content and dynamics of the practices will be adapted to your experience, needs, age, and specific circumstances, seeking to gain the greatest possible benefit.

I have experience working with and teaching beginners and people with little experience of physical work as well as children in the field of dance, acting movement, and yoga.
