I am giving personally- tailored piano lessons suitable for all ages and all levels of experience. The lessons will focus on your musical taste and what your goals are. During the lessons, you will learn music theory, rhythm and melody composition in addition to reading music sheets, improvisation and learning how to play music by ear. I am open to wide variety of music styles including classical, jazz, pop and electronic music. I have 15 years of experience. I have played in many live performances with both bands and choirs. I have more than 20-year experience of teaching/playing guzheng, đàn tranh both in Asia and in Europe. My goal is to keep students to have joy in learning music. Hello and welcome! Let me introduce myself and encourage you to take piano lessons today! Thao is a successful performing pianist and teacher, who is working internationally across Europe. Thao grew in Warsaw (Poland) where she started the piano and studied at the Chopin Academy. Hello, my name is Vinicius, I am a Brazilian Biologist and I am a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at VU Amsterdam. I have been playing guitar since I was 11 and I have been teaching the instrument for over a decade now. I believe that motivating the student and helping him to integrate the instrument into his daily routine is the most important role that a teacher can do. My methodology is the flipped-classroom and I use the Google Classroom platform: every week, I will write a study guide with details of what we discussed during class + references (videos/blogs/books). This can be used by the student to study carefully at their own pace. During our next class, we will discuss the points you had the most difficulty and advance your knowledge further. I can also record videos and write essays from scratch specifically for you, whenever the material is not available online. About me I learned to play the guitar on my own - later in life I had classical training at university (singing, piano and classical guitar). I play Fingerstyle guitar, popularized by artists like Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel and Antoine Dufour, which consists of playing melody, harmony and percussion at the same time. I have published an EP named "14th of August" with original fingerstyle compositions in 2020.

During this course the children playfully learn the basics of music making, such as rhythm, pitch and musical notation. The following teaching methods are used: singing, tapping rhythm, listening to music and playing chimes, ocarina (a small wind instrument), recorder and keyboard. In this course children can learn basics of music, such as rhythm, notes, listening and playing using different kind of (small) instruments and keyboard / piano.

An Improvisation class thought to be given to any musician whom can already play an instrument and wants to gain some freedom. Not necessarily Jazz oriented. The program will be personalised on you. There will be a bit of analysis and theory. I can teach also on webcam.
