In my teaching, I’m aiming to explain the basics of the DAW within the shortest time possible, making use of examples from actual tracks and showing how to achieve similar results, all the while keeping things fun and entertaining. My goal is to help students make sense of composing and arranging in Ableton and to create an effective workflow, utilizing the software’s numerous features.
I have experience in both electronic (EDM, House, IDM, Leftfield, Breakbeat, Industrial) and more acoustic or guitar-driven (Indie Rock, Synthpop, Post-Punk) production.

I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I am currently preparing to teach a masterclass at my school that will cover advanced mixing, mastering and sound design.

I work in Ableton and I have made or engineered everything from industrial techno to dubstep, acid rock to pop. As such, I am extremely flexible and can focus exclusively on what you are aiming to learn, regardless of what genre or subgenre you want to make. My approach is dynamic and changes depending on every student, but my aim is the same across all levels and types: to get you to love music production.

More about me: I have worked in the music production field for the last 10 years. I have a recording engineering certificate from UCLA in California. I currently manage a deep house producer signed to Crosswalk Records.

Originally from Italy but born in Switzerland, Samuel aka Luca Torre did early in 1996 his first steps in electronic music for which he discovered a true passion. From trip-hop to techno going through more architectural sounds like drum ́n ́bass or Brackcore. Luca organized and participated in several events in Switzerland, in places like Loft Lausanne or even the Dachkantine in Zürich where he started being quite notorious

He arrived in Berlin in 2004 and continued to work on his dedication to music by becoming a sound engineer and a sound designer. His interest for synthesis and modular systems brought him to work for the famous company Arturia where he then developed Presets. He also worked in the film industry where he took part in various projects. Follows up some releases on digitals and vinyls on several labels and then began collaborations with various artists.

2016 is finally the arrival of it ́s big label project. After several cogitation years he finally runs and owns the label Clock'Art Records where beautiful surprises await.

His career is currently being boost by his passion, talent and famous techno artists name ́s recognition who took part in his projects.

Luca is a pure eclectic and avant-garde dj. He is real fanatic sound designer, as much as an architecht of new sound constructions. He is a true artist who will keep on impressing us for years to come.

How to work the voice ? Practice ? Perform ? Compose ? Interpret a song ?
It's through technic but also practising songs from your favourite artists that you understand how to place your voice and sing your song and achieve your musical journey. Starting from the basics like breathing support, vocal routines, learning songs to practising stage presence, composition.
In my classes, I go through all this points and focus on what the student needs and wish to learn.

I had the chance to learn with the greatest Jazz singers of the New York scene. I studied, Jazz, Pop, Classical singing, which lead me to understand the voice in its full. For five years I focused on performing and touring with my different projects, and there I built my skills for the stage and being comfortable in front of a crowd.

This class is for all music enthusiasts, whether you’re just getting started and need a solid foundation or already experienced and looking to level up.
I'm a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, and the founder of DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organise events.
My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project

I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance.
This means we can absolutely work on different musical genres or more unconventional, creative approaches.

Passionate about dancefloor energy, it’s behind the decks and my machines that I feel most alive — and I truly love passing that on.
I perform regularly in Berlin in clubs such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Hoppetosse, RSO, Golden Gate, etc., as well as abroad, most recently in Belgrade, London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc.

Sessions usually last 2 hours, and can take place face-to-face or online, solo or in a group.

. Group sessions (1-3) are friendly, less expensive, more dynamic in terms of learning and interesting because you get to observe another student correcting TPs or or discussing techniques, which leads to valuable insights.
. In 1-1 if you're more comfortable solo, and for more effective learning focused on you and your pace.

Classes take place either in my studio in Kreuzberg, equipped with 2 CDJs, 2 vinyl decks, workstation, synths, drum machines and controllers or online with screen sharing with dynamic practice, TPs and follow up.
They are a mix of theory and practice, and we also cover the values and precepts of this art form, giving you lots of pro tips and tricks, as well as creative goodies (VSTs, effects, personal racks)
