We can organize the lessons in a way that suit to the student needs. Them can be of one hour, thirty minutes, once a week or two weeks. I usually like spending some additional time in case by talking about music, students goals and their achievements.

During the bass lessons we are gonna deal with:
- left and right hand technique
- scales, arpeggios and chords
- Jazz accompaniment
- Improvisation
- sight reading
- harmony related to the instrument

I also teach harmony, composition and arranging lessons starting from the concept of "interval" and "motif" to arranging for big band.

About Me

Hallo allemaal! I am bass player from Italy, I play the bass from when I was 14 years old. I have always had a deep passion for music which led me decide to point on the music career. This brought me to studying different music styles starting with Rock and Blues but expanding widely to Funk, Jazz, Fusion and Brazilian Music.
The passion for music helped me to meet a lot of different musicians from all around the world and to play in different Festivals in Europe, especially after moving in the beautiful city of Rotterdam, where I achieved my second Master Degree in World Music (focused on Choro and Brazilian Music).

Teaching for me it means to convey to my students the passion that I feel for this beautiful instrument and the variety of music styles that can be played with. I have been fascinated by teaching since my first steps in music. From that moment, I always tried to analyze the different methods that my teachers used to explain me various topics. This, through the years, allowed me to copy and create structured ways to explain step by step different styles, techniques and all aspects that I worked on during my career.

In practice this can be translated in giving the students the right tools to deal with the music that he/she likes and stimulate the curiosity about other styles in order to artistically grow as a musician.

If you are new to the instrument, no problem: you can use one of my basses to begin! (but I certainly recommend to buy yours as soon as possible to practice). In the first lesson I am gonna show you this beautiful instrument in all its parts. We’re gonna approach the first steps to the technical exercises that will fix the correct posture on the instrument, preventing any body pain problem. This will give you a good starting point to learn quickly how to play the first notes for any music path pursuable.

One part of this lesson is dedicated to know you and your musical taste: It will allows me to better define the course based on your musical tendencies.

Singing lessons, technique and interpretation in Rotterdam!
Voice is an amazing instrument with numerous possibilities. It is an instrument connected with the mind and the body. In the class we will work on relaxation techniques and stress relief, singing technique and support. Since every person is unique and perceives music and singing differently, we will work individually on what the student needs. In the class we will also work in interpretation of the songs the student wishes to sing. Repertoire lessons of folk music(greek, modal) are also offered. I am coming from Athens, Greece and I moved to Rotterdam in 2017 to study singing and modal music in Codarts Conservatory of Rotterdam. I am a professional singer since 2010 and at the moment I am performing regularly in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Grece. I am offering singing lessons which I love and I also learn a lot during that procedure.
