Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. If you are a complete novice and have not used computers to create music we can use a web-based programme or a free downloadable programme. On the other hand, if you are familiar with a particular programme that you have installed on your computer we can work through screen sharing and sound sharing to enhance your compositions using my experience. I will tailor-make the class to suit you.

This course is above all there to make you want to play bass, let it be fun! It will be based on the practice of the instrument, on the understanding and the role of the bass. The theory will be based on the progress of the practice. Step by step, practice and theory will thus be complementary, and will necessarily be useful! They are highly recognized throughout the globe. - Preparation to musical competitions -> Online classes: how and why? Our classes take place by several platforms as Google Meet or Skype, but if you feel more comfortable with others we are also open to suggestions. Our Professional Studios are set with 2 video cameras, so you can see us perfectly and also hear us perfectly with a studio microphone. Do not worry about your settings, as long as you have a stable connection this is all what we need. Why online classes? We think online classes are a valid asset for the future. Students learn comfortably from their homes and the education that they receive is proved to have the same validity as in person lessons, if performed with the right means and the right method, obviously! This is what we have been researching and testing for the past 5 years. Hello, Electric & Acoustic Guitar tuition from complete beginners to advanced. We will take your ideas and with the composition tools we will shape your works. Working on structure, form, harmony, melody construction and orchestration. Ideal for musicians who want tools to make their own songs.

I'm Martin! I've studied Guitar Performance major at Berklee College of Music. I have previously taught students ranging from children to elders, in various guitar styles including jazz, rock and pop. I worked as a Core Music Tutor at Berklee College of Music, where I provided individual, hourly tutoring sessions. During the class time I assisted the students in completing coursework and projects in subjects like Fundamentals of Ear Training, Music Fundamentals, Music Application and Theory, Harmony 2-4, Ear Training 1-4, Solfege 1-2, Arranging 1-2, Tonal Harmony and Composition 1-2, Art of Counterpoint, and Conducting 1. During this job I got certified by the College Reading and Learning Association through trainings offered in the program. I would describe my teaching philosophy as organic and holistic. I believe that with unlimited content at their fingertips, people today tend to be overwhelmed by the amount of information, whereas I consider it should be a mix between knowledge and perceptual approach. I understand the student needs its own time to digest knowledge and incorporate it.
