French tutoring / homework help and methodologyIn this class, there is no pressure. You can be a foreigner, or a student in primary, middle or high school, I am the right teacher. I learned to read and write at the age of 5 while living in Spain. Indeed, after having studied in the literary section in a large French high school: Lycée Louis-le-Grand, I passed the Concours général de français, then I joined a selective diploma in French law and Spanish law.
I am passionate about languages, and French is for me a great tool not only for communication but for meetings.
Having had a very good mention in the Baccalaureate and having continued my studies in the legal sphere, I had to perfect a certain level in dissertation, commentary or simply writing. Spelling has a central interest in these different trainings and I think for all these reasons I am the teacher you are looking for!

Tunisian Arabic, culture and civilization for everyoneThis class is about learning Tunisian Arabic to easily interact with Tunisians. Tunisian Arabic is not the first dialect you hear about when you start to learn Arabic, but it is indeed one of the most fascinating and useful, especially if you are working in Tunisia, your partner is Tunisian or you are into North African social studies.
It occurred to you to be told that Tunisian Arabic has no grammatical or syntactic rules because it's not real Arabic? Well, that's not true! I can reveal you some tips to speak and sound Tunisian even if you don't know anything about Arabic. We will talk, play, watch videos from Tunisian tv programs and learn about language and culture.
I also do transcriptions and translations of documents and videos into French and Italian for academic researchers, journalists, and entrepreneurs.

Homework help (literature, French, English, Spanish, history, Latin, philosophy)Dear,
My name is Marie and I am a student in the second year of literary preparatory classes (CPGE) at Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris (75005). My experience in preparatory classes taught me to work efficiently without neglecting quality; I was able to benefit from a multidisciplinary education which allows me to be comfortable in several diverse and varied subjects, several languages and I would really like to share my skills and my working methods with students, whether they are young ( primary) or older (college-high school).
This is why I offer courses between 1 to 2 hours (to be adapted) of:
- French (grammar, vocabulary, essays, ...)
- letters (analysis of literary texts, comments, ...)
- Latin (revision of declensions, conjugations, juxtalinear translation, ...)
- English (grammar, vocabulary, oral, reading...)
- Spanish (grammar, vocabulary, oral, reading...)
- history (retrace the main stages, dates, events, ...)
- philosophy (identify the main currents of thought, know the main theses, ...)
Whatever the subject(s) chosen, I share with the student simple and effective tools and methods for a better organization of the work (revision sheets, chronological friezes, memo-technical means) adapted to his needs, abilities and level. For students who have difficulty concentrating or memorizing, I try to vary my methods and imagine a different way of teaching.
I would add that I am fluent in English (level C1) as well as Spanish (level C1).
I remain of course available for any question(s) or additional information(s) concerning my profile.
See you soon !

Expert tutoring from Columbia University instructorI have 21 years of in-person tutoring and 13 years of online tutoring experience in the world's most competitive markets: New York, London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Istanbul and more. I’ve recently moved to Paris and want to do the same here.
I am an expert in the following areas: all Math subjects up to Multi-variable Calculus, Physics, essay writing and literary composition, all areas of the SAT and ACT, the math sections/exams of the IB, AP, GMAT, GRE, GCSE and A-Levels tests/programs, film & video studies and production.
I have prepared many students for Ivy League and Oxbridge admission, helped some achieve perfect SAT scores, created and taught a course at Columbia University, and tutored students at Eton and Harrow in the UK (where the Royal Family sends its children) and Brearley, Packer Collegiate, Saint Ann’s and other top schools in New York.
Recently I was the main SAT course provider for the International School of Prague - the largest and most reputable international school in the Czech Republic - over a period of three years. I am also an industry expert in online tutoring: for the last 13 years I have taught well over a hundred students in five continents - completely online - for advanced subjects such as AP Calculus, A-Level Physics and IB Essay composition.
I am a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and a native English speaker, born and raised in the US before moving to Europe more than 15 years ago. When I’m not tutoring or consulting education companies on their technological needs, I’m usually working on screenplays or films. Or traveling… at least I was before the pandemic :)
We can work in-person in Paris or online. Even if you prefer to work in-person, I am happy to offer a 20-minute session online to answer your questions and provide a tutoring sample. Be sure to ask for this if interested.
Speak to you soon.

Trilingual Tutor Offers English Classes (Online/in Paris)Bonjour! My name is Emma, I'm 22 and both French & English (I have both passports!). While I'm originally from Toulouse, I moved to Hamburg aged 9 and stayed there until the end of high school. I speak French and English fluently along with German (C1-C2) and Spanish (B1-B2). I graduated from the University of Southampton last year with a First-Class Honours BA in Film and English literature and I'm about to start my masters in Film Production at la Sorbonne Nouvelle.
I have been working as an English and French tutor since 2016, both at home and online (Zoom, Skype). I have experience with students aged 6-18. I structure my lessons according to my their needs, homework and the topics they are working on at school. I like to incorporate my passion for film and literature during my lessons by asking my students to watch specific films or read short stories and/or books we can then discuss and sometimes work on. With younger students, I like to read them stories and play games (Memory, Guess Who? etc.) that will allow them to use the content we covered beforehand. When online teaching, I also use British Council learning games to make the tutoring session more interactive and interesting.
