I give my classes based on each student's needs. Whether you want to focus on written professional English/Greek or simply conversational English/Greek, I will adapt to what fits you most. We will focus on grammar, spelling, reading, as well as pronunciation skills, and have conversations around your preferable choice of topics. Last but not least, apart from using the traditional teaching methods I am extremely keen on using the experiential learning method, which makes my classes both interesting and fun. I teach everyday Greek, for short stays in Greece or for those who want to settle in Greece. Simplified Greek for all levels, but also preparation for levels A1-A2 of Modern Greek certification. Here is the recipe!!

Experienced teacher and chalk in hand, offers coaching (online or at home) taking into account the learner's level and adopting the most appropriate method for adequate monitoring. Online, the sessions will be recorded and the video will be available to the listener (for their revisions). Students in exam classes will find, through various supports, the resources to upgrade and tackle the tests with more confidence, and the certainty of a positive result. The difficulties linked to analysis (grammatical and logical), the methodology of exam tests (dissertation, summary, commentary), the understanding of texts, genres and literary trends will no longer be a secret or a pitfall to success. For those preparing for a competitive exam, more in-depth training to achieve the required performance will be offered. Beginner or advanced Latinists will be able to master the subtleties of Latin morphology, syntax and conjugation. They will be able to read and understand texts, acquire vocabulary, know the history of Roman civilization. For non-Latinists wishing to acquire knowledge of Latin, this course will provide a good introduction to this classical language. They will read, understand simple to complex structures, access texts independently to increase their general knowledge or the needs of their activity. For English-speaking or Arabic-speaking adults who need to study the French language, this course will allow them to communicate in French to be independent in daily exchanges.

Latin, although technically a 'dead language' is still very usual to know nowadays. If you like learning new languages and the history behind them, this class is for you. Be prepared to learn lots of vocab, a bit of grammar and enjoy learning. If you are already taking Latin for GCSE and are struggling or just want some extra support this is also for you. I am a current A Level Latin student, who also takes Classics and Maths, student- predicted A* for Latin and Classics and I achieved a grade 9 (A*) for my Latin GCSE. I am capable of teaching both the Cambridge Latin Course and the John Taylor, 'Latin to GCSE' textbook so I can help tutor to your preference if you have one. I enjoy tutoring and already have some experience, so please attend if you are eager to learn something new and unconventional.

With more than 10 years of experience, I love transmitting the beauty of the Greek language and culture. During the class we talked about both Greek culture and current life in Greece, anecdotes, everything that can be experienced living in Greece today. From its organization, from its cuisine, from all the traditions that remain alive over the years.

Associate professor of Grammar (= Classical letters with an ancient linguistic emphasis), doctor in Comparative Literature (Paris IV-Sorbonne), gives courses for aggregators (internal or external competition), on the Greek part of the program: -Homer, Iliad, IX-X -Euripides, Medea -Lysias, Discourse, “On the sacred olive tree” The other parts of the program and the Latin program can also be covered, depending on demand. Help with reading, establishment of a juxtaparagraph, explanation of grammatical difficulties, help with literary commentary.

This class will provide you with personalised tuition and support to prepare you for taking Latin GCSE, with the ability to cover any exam board, set text, or paper. I believe that tutoring should be a dialogue between the pupil and tutor, tailored to the former's needs in order to help them achieve their maximum potential. My experience in Learning Support means that I have a heightened awareness of the different barriers to learning that students may experience, and how best to empower the students to overcome them. My lessons are fun and dynamic, marked by a rigorous approach to the subject matter and lively conversation. The goal is that the student will come to share my love of the subject and develop their own abilities to achieve their target grade.

I studied Latin for 6 years (high school and university) and read the works of (among others) : -Ovidius -Virgil -Horace -Civero -Catullus I assign homework and after I receive it, correct it thoroughly additionally providing a lot of remarks/examples if they are necessary. During my lessons I use : - Skype/Whatsapp/Messenger to connect with you, - Google Docs to keep notes, which you can check at any time and they are yours to keep, - sketch board me to make mind maps to show connections between ideas, etc. - books, PPP, word docs, diagrams, pics, etc. I adore my profession and desire each and every one of my students be satisfied with the lesson. That's why I make sure the atmosphere is stress-free and nice. I also want my lessons to be as effective as possible. Therefore, I make sure they are well-prepared, although they can be altered at any point, should such an opportunity arise. I like explaining things in a variety of ways as well as make use of dictionaries, diagrams, etc. When it comes to students who want to sit an exam, I am very demanding. You will learn Latin the way it was meant to be learned - through conversation! Medieval scholars and contemporary language researchers alike advocate the use of dialogues and comprehensible input for language acquisition, and it most certainly works! As opposed to the "memorise grammar rules and then babble them in front of the class" approach that was demonstrated by the infamous "Romanēs eunt domus" scene from Monty Python's "The Life of Brian", you will learn to feel the grammar, so that you will be able to use the different cases of Latin without even thinking about it, just like a native speaker! For this class we will be using the following books, depending on the learner's level: Hans Øreberg's "Lingua Latīna per sē Illustrāta" "Corderiī Colloquia" Erasmus Rask's "Colloquia Familiaria" John C. Traupman Conversational Latin for Oral Proficiency I will be the collocutor and I will answer the learner's questions and explain certain oddities solely in Latin (I will use a second language only when the situation calls for it) We will also engage in free-form conversations, discussions of the dialogues, of our life experiences etc so that the learner can apply what they learn to real-life situations and expand their vocabulary

Hello to all ! After studying French language and literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which is my hometown, I started giving private FLE lessons, mainly to adults.
