I propose saxophone lessons for all ages, all levels, and in all styles. I have been running private lessons for 25 years, as well as giving workshops and master classes in colleges and universities. During a lesson I encourage the student to work on: posture, breathing and the position of the mouth (embouchure), helping the projection of sound; the development of the tone; i teach the student how to phrase and play a beautiful melody; techniques of improvisation; understanding harmony; having confidence in his/her playing skills; techniques of listening and interacting with the rhythm section; learning new songs and experiencing different styles of music; Introductions to key saxophonists. Above all i encourage my students to have fun with music! Course locations: Paris 13th and neighbouring arrondissements. Languages: French, English. I have been working as a Professional for 25 years, I have toured all over the world. I am also a composer with six albums under my name. I'll be very happy to meet with you! Musically, Rob

Piano/Keyboard Lessons (Music Theory, Aural Training, Sight Reading, Composition and Performance)
Music is a globally recognized form of expression that connects and unites us in various ways. As a musician, I have tried to inspire people from different walks of life to feel the joy and love of playing the piano and creating music. I have composed music for multiple bands, played for choirs, and accompanied many influential artists. I cleared the Grade 8 examination from Trinity College of Music, London in piano performance. My main goal as a music teacher is not just to provide training and lessons, but to inspire students to continue to learn and gain skills on their own and master the art of music composition. I offer classes both at the student's location and my own. My curriculum blends aural training, sight reading, performance, and composition (tailored to each student's proficiency level).

Beginner to Advanced Lessons for Guitar Players for all ages
After dedicating 14 years to mastering the guitar, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of guitar playing, encompassing both foundational techniques and advanced music theory. In these lessons, I'll be sharing the wealth of knowledge I've accumulated over this extensive period of learning. I will be covering a broad range of guitar techniques, including fingerpicking, strumming techniques, major and minor chords, power chords, barre chords, riffs, scales, finger warm-ups, practising any song of your choice, string bending, pull-offs, hammer-ons, harmonics, strumming patterns, and slides. All are provided with diagrams etc. For music theory, I will begin by covering the fundamentals, including notes, strings, and the musical 12-note chromatic scale alphabet on the guitar. As students progress, we will delve into more advanced topics such as tones, semitones, chord progressions, circle of fifths, scale formulas and chord terminology. Additionally, we will explore concepts like consonance and dissonance and pitch practice to develop relative pitch. (You have to be born with perfect pitch but you can learn relative pitch with practise!) Then advancing to jazz theory, we'll explore; jazz scale formulas, jazz chord progressions, swing techniques, major and minor 7th chords, major and minor 9th chords, dominant, augmented, half-diminished, diminished, sus2 and sus4 chords. And then jazz scales and the art of re-harmonising a song (changing the chords to jazz chords). All music theory will be intertwined with guitar practice as both can't be done without the other! One observation I've made while learning guitar through lessons is that information is often doled out incrementally, making it feel like a breadcrumb trail. Guitar knowledge and skills seem to be closely guarded and usually gatekept unless actively sought out. I strongly believe that the extensive knowledge I've acquired over 14 years of playing should be fruitfully shared in a more comprehensive and accessible manner, of course while being tailored to the pace of the students. In essence, I'm convinced that the depth of my understanding I've gained could be effectively conveyed and learnt within a two-year timeframe without including the time it takes to master the skill with practice, of course, I'd like to make it easier for people to learn the guitar and the theory behind it. I have also graduated with a distinction for my Music Performance and Production UAL Level 3 Course and have experience teaching guitar in London and Bristol before. The lessons will be taught in English so practising your English with me is also a plus, a foundational knowledge of English is required to take the lessons.

Piano lessons, harmony, composition, counterpoint
I give piano and music theory lessons with my own method. The music theory part is not purely theoretical but always mixed with practice. My method emphasizes the deciphering of scores, given that the objective is to allow the student to be as independent as possible thereafter. It will also have a technical aspect, but I prefer to have her work directly with pieces rather than dry exercises. I also give lessons in harmony, counterpoint and composition for those who would like to go further.

Theo
MFA and CFPM graduate professor in Paris and surroundings
Graduated from Nancy's Music Academy International, and the Paris CFPM, I offer private lessons for guitarists of all levels. Professor at the school La Maison des Sons (75002) and also a musician accompanist and studio, I evolve in various projects that allowed me to open the stage for artists such as Bertrand Cantat, Selah Sue, Peter Von Poehl, Girls in Hawaii, Uriah Heep ... Since 2020, I have been creating educational content for Guitar Part Magazine. I will run the course according to the student's wishes: Different style studies: Blues, Rock, soul, slide guitar, pop, Shred, Fusion, Folk, Funk, Jazz, World,... Depending on the level, we will discuss several techniques: bends, hammer, pull off, sweeping, tapping, alternate picking, legato, hybrid picking, economy picking, guitar behind the head, with the teeth ... Learning the pentatonic scale, major system, modes, harmonic and melodic minor scales, game 'out', exotic ranges, ... Development of improvisation Theory and harmony on the guitar: Harmonization range Maj, triads and tetrads, modes, ... Rhythmic playback and playback of Jazz grids. I do not impose music theory and deciphering, but if the student wishes, we can study these disciplines.

Music theory, music, piano and / or singing lessons
Passionate about music offers an initiation or a deepening in music (music theory, piano or singing). My goal is to be as attentive as possible to your expectations and I will be quite capable of adapting. Practicing the piano since the age of 6, I acquired a very good level of music theory and subsequently found fun methods for this learning which may seem boring but which remains necessary. The goal is to help with motivation and confidence! . Learning music theory can be for all instruments. Indeed, I know the three types of keys (G, F, and C) depending on the instrument. I am also a member of a musical comedy troupe with which we put on 8 shows with live music. So I also have a great experience in singing and piano in front of an audience. I also passed the Music option of the baccalaureate and could therefore also teach you the techniques of comparative listening or instruct you on a work or a genre of music that interests you. Feel free to contact me for more information !

As a award-winning composer, my experience of the professional world can help build you career plan as well as managing your time efficiently. Currently living in Paris, Fr, I dispense in-person classes or online classes through Zoom (outside of France). In addition, courses can be given in French or English depending on your preferences. TRAINING: License in harpsichord at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Prof. Francesco Corti and Master in harpsichord and basso continuo at the CNSMDP with professors Olivier Baumont and Blandine Rannou.
