Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Oslo. I have a passion for teaching maths, physics and chemistry to students of all ages. My courses are structured in a way that makes it easy for you to learn. We start by explaining the theory, so you get a solid understanding of the basics. Then we move on to exercises that help you practise what you've learnt. We start with simple tasks that are easy to understand, and then gradually move on to more complex tasks and previous years' exams. This ensures that you get a solid understanding of the subject and that you are well prepared for the exam.

About Me

Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Oslo. I have a passion for teaching maths, physics and chemistry to students of all ages. I am available to teach online or in person.

Education

I did my bachelor's degree in engineering in Lisbon Technical University and then my master's degree and PhD in mathematics and physics at the University of Cambridge, UK.

Experience / Qualifications

I have 10 years of experience teaching maths, physics and chemistry in international schools (English, French, Portuguese and German), both at university level and at secondary school. My goal is to transfer not only my knowledge but also my passion for these subjects.

The courses of Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, Geology of the French or European French or English programs (Secondary or university levels) are given by explanations either in depth or by a rapid course and summary of essential need according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or by evaluations and exams from other high schools.
My experience is too long and for years, I have learned methods for each case and for each student to fill their gaps with the best results of Excellent, Very Good, and Good as mentioned by my students.
I can also help students to better prepare for courses and support them to better prepare for the duties of CNED in science subjects.

I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company.
I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 11 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools.

Additionally, I hold the position of president at the Astronomy Society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. I prepare the learning environment by incorporating experiments and exploration, moving away from rote education. I often bring experimental materials to class, aiming to make learning memorable through hands-on experiments.

As an educational mentor, I approach my students as if they were my siblings, valuing creativity. I have a deep passion for mathematics, physics, and science. Jeg er forsker ved Universitetet i Oslo i organisk og uorganisk kjemi. Jeg har gitt privatundervisning i 5 år i Frankrike og Tyskland i fysikk og kjemi til elever i alderen 16 til 18 år. Jeg tilbyr å følge elevens fremgang og tilpasse meg elevens nivå ved hjelp av eksamener som jeg lager fra bunnen av, og som oppfyller skolens krav.
