I have a master's degree in Mathematics and have been a college-level math teacher and a high school math teacher. I have a lot of experience helping students with math problems.

If your problem is one of these:

    Solving algebraic or geometric problems
Solving problems on Statistics, probability or Operation Research
Solving problems on Calculus, or abstract algebra
    Translating logical statements to formulas
    Finding motivations to study mathematics
Finding your own method or style for solving math problems

Sure, I can help you and I will enjoy doing it.

    About Me

I am a patient and creative person. I like to see the big picture in everything I have learned and I like to convey it to all students. We could not be mathematical geniuses, but we can enjoy the conquest of small challenges in our work to understand mathematics. Mathematics does not necessarily have to be a traumatic experience, but rather a challenge to our imagination.

    François
Tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics and French region of Leuven (secondary)
I am a TEW student at the KULeuven and would like to offer my services to secondary school students who could use some help outside school hours. Together with my students, I look for the right study approach to fully understand the courses and I myself try to present the subject matter in a different way so that my students gain more insight into the subject matter to be known. I myself graduated from the Sint-Albertus College in Haasrode with a diploma in science mathematics (6 hours) and I was brought up perfectly bilingual (Dutch-French).

    Peter
WISK / BIO / CHEMISTRY / PHYSICS | University student who teaches science subjects to secondary students of all levels.
It is important that I know how the lesson is taught by the teacher. That is why I always prepare my lessons on the basis of the teacher's workbook. Then I teach from the very beginning. I am convinced that you can never build on things without a good foundation. Does this base not work? Then we'll just start over until we get the hang of it! For a further build-up in difficulty I fully adapt to the pace of the student, this is important to be able to remember everything in the long term, such as for a test within a few days. After class I am also available 24/7 to forward small questions or extra exercises that we can discuss in a next lesson. So no worries, you can always contact me. :)

Mathematics guidance primary school for tests or tasks
Mathematics can be a fairly difficult subject. especially if you are still in primary and have to learn the basics that will become very important later. My goal is to help you get better marks for this subject. I will do this by guiding you with tasks or topics that you do not understand. I want to turn you into a real math genius by the end of the school year. About myself: I'm Ibrahim, I'm 17 years old and I'm a 6Economics-Language student. My native language is Dutch. After that I also learned English, French and Arabic. I am very good with children and have experience with them. I spent a total of 9 weeks on various playgrounds in Brussels and Leuven.

Private lessons in Mathematics at secondary level
Mathematics is an essential universe in everyday life. Because thanks to this knowledge we are able to demonstrate logic and reasoning in the face of different life situations through analysis and observation. To do mathematics is to know how to master the basics of mathematics such as analysis, algebra, geometries and trigonometry to solve a specific problem.

    Catalin
Mathematics (at all levels) and high-school Physics. SAT, GRE, and GMAT exam preparation.
Experienced teacher (international schools and private tutoring) with a Master's degree in Mathematics, currently doing a Master's in Statistics at KU Leuven. I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress.

Biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, english, dutch, anatomy.
Hi everyone, I am a Belgian student, currently, I'm in my first master's year at the KULeuven. I chose a master's in 'Rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy specialization musculoskeletal disorders'. During my bachelor years, I developed a very good basic knowledge of science subjects and mathematics: I studied statistics for 3 years, molecular cell biology, chemistry, physics, biomechanics, biochemistry and anatomy. The quality of teaching of both the University of Leuven as the high school I went to (Heilig Hartcollege Tervuren) is something I am very happy/thankful for. I would love to share the education and the knowledge I acquired by supporting and teaching you or your child/teen. I would consider it as a sort of study pathway counseling. As I already have a bachelor's degree in one of the highest-ranked universities in Europe, I have a broad knowledge of quite some subjects. I have a lot of experience working with children and teenagers, I have been a leader in a Scout for children aged 12 to 18. I have also been a tutor for 5 years now. I love working with other people as I am a very social, empathic, and motivated person. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have more questions about the topics and fields of study that I can cover, or if you have a special inquiry I currently live in Belgium. Lessons can be taught in English or Dutch. I hope to meet you soon and start working on enhancing those performances! Kind regards, Natalia

Mathematics and Science for Secondary Education
Mathematics and science subjects can weigh heavily in your study career during secondary education. It is therefore important to perform well on this. This can be a challenge for many students, especially in the third grade. In my lesson I try to explain the subject matter to students using their own course, my old course and extra exercises. The ultimate goal is for students to gain a better understanding of their course.

    Arina
(Private) Mathematics tutoring for secondary school students
    - As for the lessons. The lessons are about mathematics of secondary education. More specifically, I will assist in the theoretical processing of mathematics as its application (the exercises). In addition, I will provide additional study material (aids, schedules, ...) if necessary. - Way of handling. I would like to have an overview in advance of the study material, the tests or tasks in which certain problems are visible, .... This way I can prepare the lessons in advance and focus on the problem. In addition, I can estimate / determine his / her level in this way. I try, in a simple way and for the student in an understandable way, to explain the course in a different way so that this is clear to the student. Afterwards I like to enjoy the results. - Why am I doing this? Math is a passion of mine and for me there is nothing more fun than sharing my passion. Unfortunately, my love for mathematics is not part of my studies and that is why I like to do this as a hobby and as an extra income. Of course I work professionally. - Experiences? I love nothing more than tutoring my fellow students about the subject matter. This is appreciated by them. Of course I also have experience in tutoring mathematics of both primary and secondary education. - Who am I? My name is Arina and I am a legal practice student. I am 22 years old and I live in a student flat in Leuven. In high school itself, I had a traumatic experience in first and second high school for mathematics. I thought it was a very interesting and cool subject, but I just couldn't understand it. During these years I had the same teacher, who did not teach me the subject matter in a, for me, the right way. After (compulsory by my parents) tutoring, my interest in mathematics increased to such an extent that I started studying economics mathematics in the following years. My love for math just won't go away...

👋🤓 [Nederlands & English] - Economics/Math/Statistics for pre-school to university students - graduated Master in Business Engineering 🧑‍
🚩Location: Both Leuven and Brussels (Zoom also possible) 🕛Time: very flexible, multiple days a week possible, as well as sessions of several hours *** 🚩Locatie: zowel in Leuven als Brussel (Zoom ook mogelijk) 🕛Tijd: zeer flexibel, meerdere dagen per week kan, als ook meerdere uren achter elkaar *** English *** Hi there 🙂! If you or your son/daughter is struggling with courses such as mathematics, statistics, or economics, I would be very happy to help. I have extensive experience in teaching both high-school and university students in these courses. How will we work 🤔? This depends on the student's needs, of course. In general, we will first take a step back to make certain we understand the structure of the course and the bigger picture, which is essential to be able to understand the details. We will then work through problems to really feel comfortable with the materials. Mostly, I want to make the learning as fun as possible! :) *** Nederlands *** Hallo 🙂!

Mathematics for school students, test preparation and math competitions
Hi🇺🇦! I have a powerful ability kindly explain hard math rules and usually people with a math anxiety tend to feel safe on my math sessions. I would like to share my deep knowledge with more advanced students (math competitions, preparing for exams) as well. Firstly, we will make a short survey to see in which areas you need a help. After that I will make a plan for our study and give you my feedback. I’ve been teaching math online via zoom for 2 years, therefore I have enough expertise to do it perfect. So, contact me if you need some math help. I believe I could help you!
