Math certificates are becoming more and more important at different levels of education. For several universities, math certificates such as SAT or GMAT are compulsory tests students must have. To get good scores on these tests, it is advised for students to approach them as soon as possible.
Math is not only about the formulas but also the stories of mathematicians and how they generated their ideas as well as its application. Learning math is one of the best ways to develop logical thinking which enhances problem-solving skills for students.
In Vietnam, I was trained to be a professional math teacher. With 2 years of experience being a teacher and a tutor, I had opportunities to work with students of different ages (9 to 18) and different levels (mental math, IB, IGCSE, A-level, SAT, SSAT). This makes me believe that I can bring the greatest value to students in the UK.
I offer classes for different levels: IGCSE, A-Level, IB, GMAT, SSAT, SAT, and math for college students (algebra, calculus, geometry).

Being trained to be a professional math teacher in Vietnam, up to now, I have had 2 years of experience in teaching and tutoring math. What makes me love this subject is the beauty of the ways people prove formulas and the pleasure of solving challenging problems.
I have experience teaching math to students of different ages (9 to 18) and different levels (IGCSE, A-level, IB, SSAT, SAT). In addition, I had opportunities to teach students from international schools in Vietnam and cooperate with colleagues from the US, South Africa, the Philippines and Nigeria.
During teaching time, I always focus on supporting students as much as possible. For each lesson, I will check and correct homework, review theory, and give time for students to practice exercises. After the class, there will be a diary reviewing students' performance and advice. Students can also contact me any time when they have problems asking.

Formación

Ho Chi Minh University of Education, Mathematics Pedagogy, graduated in 2023, GPA: 3.12/4.00. This is one of the two most well-known pedagogical institutions in Vietnam.

I am a Masters graduate in Public Administration at the University of Leiden and have a Bachelors Degree in Economics from University of Leeds, UK. While taking a year out after my first degree at the University of Leeds in the UK, I decided to unleash my teaching potential thereby making an impact in the lives of selected year 11 students in my neighbourhood struggling with core subjects such as Maths, English among other subjects.

This was an enjoyable experience and I am glad I am able to put smiles on their faces and add to the knowledge of my students. I look forward to working with students within my territory regardless of their knowledge levels in the subjects I teach hoping that I would be able to make the same impact on them as well.
