About Me

Possessing the ability to speak 5 languages fluently has improved my cognitive skills as well as making me more tolerant and understanding towards others which I was able to use in my previous work experiences.

The pressure to balance my studies and other commitments made it crucial for me to plan ahead and ensure I am clear on any deadlines. I am industrious and eager to learn and am also very affable which makes it very easy to co-operate with others.

Experience / Qualifications

. Brevet des Colleges - 2014

. A Levels - A (French) A (Sociology) B (Law) B (EPQ)

.2 week work experience in French private school (Ecole Saint Joseph)

Currently working part-time in a french school: École Jeaninne Manuel
As someone who can speak 5 languages fluently, I have over the years grasped the best way to efficiently learn new languages. I have experience working in 2 primary schools, where I had the opportunity to observe other teachers and learn from good practice. Being a firm believer that everyone has a different way of learning, I will urge students to let me know in advance their desired way of learning so I can prepare curated lessons just for them to make the most of our lectures. As a future lawyer, I have experience in advocacy, mooting, public speak and will work towards making students feel comfortable in speaking English.
I was born and raised in France and moved to England at the age of 16, which means I completed my Brevet des Colleges in France including 1 year of Lycée. I have previous experience teaching students as I volunteered in a primary school back in 2013. I am able to help students improve their French, enabling them to become more confident in their speech as well assist them in any homework or proofreading of work. I am very flexible in terms of how the lesson will go, as I believe there is no one specific way of learning as everyone has different abilities and learning capacities.

Melissa
Law Course Level License L1 to L3 - (Private and Public)
As a young lawyer, I explain the law as I would have liked to have been taught to me when I was a student: in a simple, enlightened and rigorous way. I emphasize the method and the thinking of my students. I hold a Master 2 in real estate law, two Masters (urban planning and private litigation) and a License. Before that, I obtained my literary baccalaureate, English specialty (promotion majore. I studied at the faculty of Caen, and I obtained my M2 in Brest, with honors. I have a mixed profile, and I can therefore intervene in both Private Law and Public Law. In addition to the course points that can be addressed again for further explanation, it is essential to understand the method (of stop commentary, essay and practical case) as well as how to conduct legal research and to take advantage of it for exams. I also offer another course to take stock of your organization, how to improve your revisions (how to file for example), and where I offer you a personalized revision schedule, according to your schedule. I will put my experience as a student and a young lawyer in the service of the student in order to focus on the important elements during his studies. I will propose my method of learning. I do not intervene for the preparation of the CRFPA. See you soon !

Learn the methodology of law (effectively)
After doing my studies in Spain, I missed the methodology a lot, so in Paris I focused on the assimilation of the methodology whether it was the dissertation, the stop commentary (and comparative commentary) and practical case . In addition, today in M1 of European comparative law, I acquired a very theoretical approach to law. The teaching that I give can be adapted to French students as well as to foreign students.
