The IAL exam results are an essential part of every college application. US colleges highly value IAL results and award students higher-level course placements and course credits.

That is why I created this course to assist eager learners in studying for the International A-Levels. Having received Biology (A*), Chemistry (A), and Mathematics (A), I can confidently offer you multiple strategies for quickly and correctly solving all the problems and using tricks to get the most out of all your answers so that the graders do not have a choice other than award you full points.

The thing I enjoy the most in tutoring is explaining complex concepts in simple words and transforming lengthy book texts into sensible ideas and pictures. When I see the understanding in my mentee’s eyes, the way it all starts making sense after the past three hours we have been staring and drawing out the nasty Krebs cycle on the blackboard, then I know it was 100% worth it!

My teaching approach:
1. Start with something simple, just a general idea of what it is and why we are doing it.
2. Start performing the technique and make comments on what you are doing. Point out important things, but do not dive into deep science right here.
3. Check in with students regularly to see if they are actually getting it (NOT "any questions?" or "everybody good on that?", BUT "why do we put this cap here?" or "do you see the white steam coming out?"), make them actively involved by the questions or asking to hold a tube while you get the reactant from the fridge.
4. Go slowly, you are just showing the technique the first time. The students can always speed up when doing it themselves.
5. Make the schematic drawing of the experiment on the blackboard / summarize it in a protocol and let the students try it on their own. Supervise them, give tips, and suggest adjustments.
6. Let them do it fully on their own and let them ask you any questions, even the silliest and "too obvious to ask" ones.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels.
