About Me

I'm the creative type: I've been a huge fan of LEGOs for many years, I'm passionate about board games, role games and quest games (treasure hunts, escape games,...). I'm also passionate about teaching and continuously improving my methods. Opening myself to new cultures and learning new languages is another passion of mine: these tutoring classes are an opportunity for me to immerse in Finnish culture and the Finnish language (I speak Spanish, the basics of Lebanese and Chinese).

When I was a kid - I'm now 25 - my parents said of me that I was messy and that I lack structure and rigour. Now that I've finished my graduate studies, I can tell that nothing is set in stone: I have a keen sense of detail when it comes to writing, no matter the language. Picking the right word for the right idea is crucial and makes all the difference at school and at work.

I have taught in university for 1st-year students and I have been doing tutoring in French, history, art history, english and math for more than 1 year now. Most of my students have a STEM profile. Their main challenge is to get the logic behind writing a text and learn to develop their ideas: most often, they go straight to the point (A>B>C). They develop their idea as they would demonstrate the validity of a theorem.
