About Me

Since 2012 I have been teaching piano, music-production and band coaching at private and public music schools and have been able to work with countless students from young to old. In doing so, I learned to approach each student differently, because no one learns the same way. My youngest students also benefit from this in school and are usually ahead of their classmates in music lessons. I am all the more pleased that my enthusiasm for music is transferred to my students.
Since I don't want to put a genre stamp on myself and have worked with a lot of different musicians over the years, I've acquired a wide range of styles over the years.

Education

In 2011 Timo won first place in the category ''Best Keyboardist" and "Best Instrumental Soloist" at the German Rock and Pop Award - an extraordinary success that encouraged him to dedicate himself completely to music and follow his calling.

In 2013 he started his studies at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg - first with a focus on piano and later on producing. During his studies, Timo worked with experienced musicians from all over the world and was trained by renowned lecturers such as Prof. Mathias Leber, Prof. Alexander Päffgen and Prof. Florian Sitzmann, among others.

In 2015/16 he worked in various recording studios in the course of several internships at Naidoo/Herberger Produktion. An intellectually as well as practically valuable experience in which Timo could deal intensively with studio work and expand his know-how for music productions.

In 2019/20 Timo wrote the film music for "Line Walker 2: Invisible Spy" (Shaw Brothers, Babieka) and "Declared Legally Dead" (Emperor Motion Pictures) together with Yusuke Hatano. In the field of games he composed the music for the RPG "The Revenant Prince" (Nomina Games). In addition, Timo works with bands, artists and is involved in TV and advertising in many ways.

Guitar and Music Theory Lessons by a Qualified and Experienced Teacher
I specialize in teaching about Music and how to play the Guitar. In class, I always make the effort of understanding what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their own skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, and so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their own thoughts freely. I offer good and personalized classes. This means that there will special care with your interest in music and guitar, all basic skills will be worked upon and strengthened, all specific requests and ideas will be addressed, both improvisation and interpretation can be developed and exploring potential, achieving goals and having fun are main priorities. Come and enjoy learning more about Music and Guitar!!

SONGWRITING course with intensive and result-oriented methods
English Translation: contact me please SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Music Production / Computer Aided Music Course
No matter what genre you like, by taking my course you will learn how to manage the different stages of music production. I detail it in all aspects: mastery of the software, choice of sounds, structure, mixing, effects. The objective of the courses is the acquisition of artistic as well as technical skills. I adapt to different profiles: age, level, pace, style, goals. --- I give lessons via webcam on Google Meet which allow sharing of the screen, as well as the sound. This has the advantage of allowing people to share their screen and the sound of their software with me from their computer, and therefore promote learning even with busy schedules, or even upset in these times of health crisis and covers -fire. It also allows me to listen and advise in real time, as much on the creative aspect (composition, vocals, arrangements) as on the mixing techniques. I adapt to the needs of creation, so I encourage people to apply my advice directly and concretely, during the course.

Lou-Indigo
Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / Theory
The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, with a chain YOUTUBE and VIDEOS TUTOS, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. The general theoretical objectives of the course: --- Tuning / tuning and knowing his guitar: * Standard Tuning * Drop Tuning * Open Tuning * Adjust the optimal tension of the strings * Adjust the shaft axis * Adjust the action of the strings * Choose the strings adapted to the style of play / tuning * Change his strings -Know his chords: * Triads: Fundamental State & Inversions * Tetrads: Fundamental State & Inversions * The chord progressions of the Range * Arpeggio techniques (tapping, sweep, 1/2/4 fing.shape, etc ...) --- Know his scales and his modes * The Mode of the Major scale * 3 Modes of the Minor scale: Natural / Melodic / Harmonic * Modes of the Pentatonic range: 5 positions * Modes of the Blues range: 5 positions Etc ... --- Technique to the Pick / Plectrum / Tab / Pick (Electric Guitar): * Alternate Picking * Fast Picking / Tremolo Picking * Hybrid Picking * Palm Mute * Natural Harmonics * Pinch Harmonics * Artificial Harmonics * Shredding * Tapping * Sweep Picking * Legato Picking --- Strumming / Hand Picking (Acoustic Guitar) * "SnareDrum" percussion on the guitar * Arpeggios pinched with 4 fingers + thumb * Rasgueado (Flamenco Technique) * Generic Strumming * Fingerstyle Picking * Two-finger picking + Legato for fast melodies (eg a solo) -Play the metronome * exercises on click * practice on song riffs -Learn his favorite songs * without thinking about the difficulty, nothing is impossible with the right methodology -Improvise * choose ranges and positions * to place oneself rhythmically, to finish on the judicious notes -Theory of Harmony * Understand harmonization and its practice -Theory on the Melody -Theory of Rhythm

MAO class with a hyper-creative professional named Costals
I published music under the names of Gelivan and Costals. An album and EP in 2017 as Gelivan, then singles in 2019. In 2020 I will release a project a month, minimum, with several videos. My mission is to live music by December 31, 2020 with a prosperous income. I want to be a major player in the world of music and help young people to progress, excel and live. I have an approach that does not dwell too much on the technique, I work rather on the optimal conditioning to become a prolific creator while having fun. Our meetings, associated with your motivation and your daily constancy, will lead you to develop your creativity and will bring you an unequaled satisfaction. It is important that you are strongly determined to make the most of my support. I suggest we see each other once a week, ideally the same day at the same time to make it easier. To create my music, I mainly use Ableton Live, and I highly recommend this same program to my students. I also create a lot of sketches on my iPhone with the Auxy app. Suggestions of habits to develop to become a prolific creator and create a music of your own: - devote at least 10 minutes every day to musical creation - collect sounds that you find interesting - you can record what surrounds you with your smartphone, sample movie dialogues, bits of other music etc. - create a reference playlist with your favorite songs (the most varied possible) - listen actively for 15 minutes of different music, be attentive to the different elements and make notes on what touches us, several listening by focusing on different elements.
