Hi everyone

My name is Matilde, I'm 29 years old and I come from Montpellier. I have been living abroad for almost 8 years, first in Portugal then in Germany where I am still living.
My main hobbies are: traveling, spending time with my family (mainly in Portugal) and going to coffee with my friends, cooking, seeing theater plays and walking in parks or at the beach.

I have a Bachelor degree in applied foreign languages (LEA) as well as a Master degree in FLE (French as a foreign language). My mother tongue is French but I also speak Portuguese and English fluently.

After that I taught in a "VHS '' which is a German language center offering evening classes for adults. Since the health crisis I have been giving French and Portuguese online lessons. At the same time, I became a language trainer at AFB-Línguas'', "Yesnyou" and "Lingoda".

Since I am a good listener, dialogue and trust are essential points for me.
I like to vary the types of documents and work on several skills simultaneously in order to make it motivating.
I will also emphasize oral expression because I think that a language is above all a tool for communication and sharing. However, I am perfectly aware that daring to speak is not easy. That's the reason why I will kindly encourage you to express yourself. I will always make sure that you feel comfortable and not afraid to make mistakes.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ...
