This class is designed as a question and answer tutoring session with one-on-one help from a highly qualified and experienced university level chemistry lecturer. Topics that can be discussed include (but are not limited to): - Functional Groups and Resonance Structures - Stereochemistry (chirality and enantiomers) - Substitution and Elimination Reactions (Sn1, Sn2, E1, E2) - Arrow-pushing Mechanisms - Acid-Base Chemistry - Synthetic Methods (e.g. Gringard reactions, metal catalysed transformations, etc.) - Spectroscopic Methods (IR, Raman, NMR analysis) This class is not intended to replace your ongoing lectures and coursework in general chemistry, but should be used in addition to help strengthen your understanding of core concepts and prepare for midterm and final examinations.
