Consultation on Emotional Biodecoding (healing process)
As an emotional biodecoder, I want to accompany adults to heal the symptoms or conflicts that they may be manifesting, through exploration and self-observation (adults only). Locating those emotions that are trapped in the body. These emotions generally manifest themselves in symptoms on a physical level (illnesses, injuries, ailments, etc.) or behavioral (addictions, recurring patterns, mental blocks, etc.). Understanding the symptoms as messages that the body gives us and that allow us to know that the unconscious is still trying to solve a previous situation. Using different BDE techniques, we are going to find the root of the emotion and bring it to consciousness, so that, in this way, it can be expressed and lead to the healing process beginning. Bibliotherapie is een therapie waarbij gebruikgemaakt wordt van geschreven teksten zoals zelfhulpboeken, handleidingen, romans en prentenboeken om mensen van alle leeftijden te helpen met hun psychische en fysieke problemen. Reeds de oude Grieken hielden voor dat literatuur zowel psychologisch als spiritueel belangrijk was, en plaatsten boven hun bibliotheek een bord met het opschrift "Plaats ter genezing van de ziel". Bij bibliotherapie kiest men lectuur uit als therapeutisch hulpmiddel bij medische en psychiatrische behandeling. Dit gerichte lezen als begeleiding bij de oplossing van persoonlijke problemen wordt bijvoorbeeld ook aangewend in ziekenhuizen. Vaak wordt bibliotherapie gecombineerd met (andere vormen van) psychotherapie.
TEENAGERS' TIME! Releasing emotions, sharing thoughts, identifying 'what you need' and build on confidence and resilience.
This is an 8-session program aimed at the school ‘transition’ years of ages 12-19. The group sessions are facilitated following a broader Personal, Health, Social, and Economic Education (PSHE) curriculum focusing on gathering teens' needs, making them objects of reflection while leveraging neuroscience information and a playful approach. The program can also well serve as a taster for teachers/parents in separate sessions or workshops. In particular, Teen's Time explores issues around: - Working with concentration and focus; exploring how we can work with a wandering mind. - Identifying emotions, how they work, and interact with thoughts and body sensations. - Why humans worry, and how to support ourselves when we do so. - Sleep: why it is important and what to do if we struggle to sleep well. - Being with others: the opportunities and challenges of working skillfully with friendships and other relationships, Each session includes: - Learning about key areas of the brain and how they support us in our everyday activities - Some introductory breathing practices - Reflections - Animations, short video - Discussions - Role play's and enactment's - Exercises they can try in their own time Teen's Time is inspired and informed by the several children-oriented programs of the Mindfulness in School Program (MisP) organization. The feedback from children who have previously taken part in these programs is very positive. They report enjoying the group sessions and especially sharing their emotions with the other participants. They find learning and neuroscience helping them in a broad range of situations from being able to concentrate and focus more easily in school to helping them feel calmer in exams and competitions. Many have described sharing the learning with other family members and finding it helps them with their relationships with family and friends.
