About Me

I enjoy a varied career working in highly competitive markets, being a noted specialist on organisational dimensions of leadership and change and lending my skills working for a large charity as a monitoring and evaluation specialist on global grant projects. I am also a mom to two children and one of my missions is to focus on their development needs to better prepare them for the world of work.

I have been teaching in universities and as an international corporate trainer for several years. Teaching is a passion and I derive a lot of joy from being able to add value to my students personal or professional development. I have taught students from around the world and adjust my teaching style for students to derive the maximum benefit from their lessons with sessions focusing on relevance to the student rather than just offering a generic style.

There is no one size fits all, each student is unique and I look forward to working with them to bring their individual talents to forefront. Teaching is a calling for me, the highlight of my teaching career has not been the nominations for best lecturer by student bodies or recognition of my digital content by peers, it is the one year I had a visually impaired student in my Project Management class that required a lot of network drawing of diagrams, which he could not do being completely blind but I managed to figure out a way the student could get the same answers using a database that he had on his specialist software so he didn't need to draw. This student was able to fully partake in this final year bachelors module and pass the exams. This is very much aligned to my research interests which lie principally in the area of innovation and change management to improve effectiveness and explore evidence-based solutions.

Education

I have a BSc in Accounting & Finance, Executive MBA and PG Dip in Organisational Leadership (Oxford). I am also a certified Scrum Master and am a graduate of the Leadership Foundation Aurora (UK) for leaders in higher education.

Experience / Qualifications

I have been a senior lecturer in UK and Spanish universities for several years and hold a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (FHEA) teaching certification in the UK. Foe the last five years I have also been a sought after corporate trainer working around the work and being a moderator on entrepreneurship conferences in Asia. I provide training to executives on Finance, Project Management, Change Management, Strategy & Leadership, HR & People Skills, Marketing & Sales, Operations Management, Networking for Business, International Business and Business Intelligence.
Do you have a great business idea that you want to turn into a winning business case? If so, this training is for you! Learn the tools and techniques to write a concise business case whether it is for your own purposes or if you want to use it to get funding.

Spanish classes, Exam preparaiton, Business and finance vocabulary, literature and syntaxis, gym coach
My name is Roberto , and I am a Spanish teacher for foreigners and a university student. I am fluent in English because I have lived abroad and have studied my whole life in both international and bilingual schools, which brings a lot of fluency to my classes. I am also a person with virtually unlimited patience and very calm; I strive to be well understood and have no problem explaining something several times. Regarding Spanish classes, I can provide both colloquial and slightly more sophisticated and cultured vocabulary, applied to various contexts. My main objective in these classes is to make them as dynamic as possible, and rather than imparting a theoretical class, the methodology we will follow will be to engage in conversations as we get to know each other and share curiosities. With this approach, we will leave behind the fear of making mistakes and find a safe and comfortable space in which to develop the class. I also have a group of teachers who will accompany us in many activities, and with whom we can join together to learn collectively.
