Vinicius
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Guitar Lessons
Hello, my name is Vinicius, I am a Brazilian Biologist and I am completing my Masters in Neuroscience at VU Amsterdam. I have been playing guitar since I was 11 and I have been teaching the instrument for almost 10 years now. I believe that motivating the student and helping him to integrate the instrument into his daily routine is the most important role that a teacher can do. My methodology is the flipped-classroom and I use the Google Classroom platform: every week, I will write a study guide with details of what we discussed during class + references (videos/blogs/books). This can be used by the student to study carefully at their own pace. During our next class, we will discuss the points you had the most difficulty and advance your knowledge further. I can also record videos and write essays from scratch specifically for you, whenever the material is not available online. About me I learned to play the guitar on my own - later in life I had classical training at university (singing, piano and classical guitar). I play Fingerstyle guitar, popularized by artists like Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel and Antoine Dufour, which consists of playing melody, harmony and percussion at the same time.

Classical singing and piano lessons for all levels and ages
Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. Having graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music and Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (cum laude), I am currently pursuing my postgraduate study in singing at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, under the tutelage of Valerie Guillorit. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions. Besides, I am a holder of ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have performed as soloist at a lot of occasions in Hong Kong and Europe, and the repertoire includes opera, Lied, oratorio and new music. I have given singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 2 to 40 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions in their ABRSM exams and some of them had won prizes in competitions. However, I do not teach them for distinctions and prizes. No matter what they get on their music journey, I love them with all my heart and I always believe that encouragement is the key. For beginners, I focus a lot on basic techniques. During the lessons, I also like to share my knowledge about history and theory, which are important building blocks to shaping a musician. For advanced learners, I would teach more about musicality and music presentation along with basic techniques. Of course, the actual teaching method depends on the personality and ability of student too. I grow up in a top English school in Hong Kong, so I can communicate in English fluently. I am confident that I will give my students the best learning experience. Please feel free to contact me if you would like a trial lesson:)

Harples and solfège lessons for each level. By an enthusiastic harpist. Student at the conservatory with experience in teaching.
I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I am in my third bachelor. I have followed harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. In this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. With, among other things, the second prize in the competition Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège. These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start with harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student. Also, solfège lessons are adapted as much as possible to the pace of the student.

Do you want to learn how to play saxophone in Amsterdam?
Music is the best way of communication in the world, the most international language and an easy way of sharing. Teaching means a lot for me; it allows me to pass on beautiful things I have learnt and at the same time to improve thanks to my students' feedback. Music and musical teaching are about joy and never-ending curiosity. My lessons are totally compiled on the student's needs, both time-wise and content-wise, and they are aimed to get quick results. We can work out many different topics together, such as learning tunes, technique, improvising, as well as approaching theory, reading, circular breathing, altissimo register and multiphonics... The lessons usually take place in my studio close by Javaplein in Amsterdam or by my house in Bos en Lommer. I work mornings and evenings as well as in the week end. Saxophone is fun! Contact me and get a trial lesson asap, I am looking forward to meeting you.

(Bass) Guitar, Music theory and Solfège in Wittevrouwen, Utrecht
Hello (future) musician! Do you also have a song in your head that you would like to play? Always wanted to play electric or acoustic guitar or bass guitar? Have you never touched a string, or are you advanced and looking for new challenges? I have been giving guitar lessons since 2007 with great pleasure. In addition to these private lessons, I worked at the Guitar Academy in Amsterdam, at Muziekles Den Bosch and at Art in Music in Utrecht, next to my work as an executive musician. I studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and Musicology at Utrecht University. Broad interests, reflected in the hoevelheid styles I play and education (from pop and rock to salsa, tango and gypsy to metal and jazz). I also give solfège and music theory. It does not matter how exotic your interest, I can help you get better! In addition, I can choose and arrange songs for you, so that there is no limit to your imagination: learn to play what you want to learn to play. These lessons are not given in a large, impersonal music school: lesson duration and lesson dates are discussed and are flexible. Personal and smooth, easier for everyone. Besides guitar enthusiast teaching is a big passion of mine, and I think that is essential to be able to offer good lessons. Whether I teach you how to play your first songs in a few lessons, or whether we are going to pick up some tough pieces, it is a pleasant and productive learning process. Lessons in Wittevrouwen, Utrecht or at extra cost at home. If you have questions, mail or call!

LOUKELELE MUSIC ACADEMY Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / Theory
REGISTRATION MAY 2019 OPEN !!! The course I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, with a program adaptable to your desires / needs with the COURSE BOOK that I wrote and produced especially for my students. Age is therefore not restrictive when you will be able to work with qualitative (and not quantitative) daily work in order to quickly observe your progress and not sink into the frustration of a quest towards an absolute that seems vain and time-consuming. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. This is of course accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on his instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. Music theory is popularized to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are therefore in an order of progressive difficulty. The course is given with sheets that I provide for each information, range, songs, chord charts, formulas of compositions, etc ... It can sometimes be accompanied by videos made during the course, tutorial videos posted on youtube, etc ... There is now a LOUKELELE MUSIC ACADEMY COURSE BOOK incorporating the entire program of the year. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, although I am particularly oriented in terms of metal / rock music and classical music in my style of play, I am a versatile ear and who appreciates a lot of very different (even contradictory) things. The writing of music and music theory are also two areas in which I am in my element and which allow me to travel transversally in music genres as different and varied as they are and to understand them, to learn them and therefore to retransmit their codes and secrets. You can play a guitar that I made available for the course, and you can also bring your own if you prefer. For bondage lovers the course can be given for 7-string / 8-string guitars. To finish I would like to add more personal that I am professional, dedicated to my profession of musician and teacher, I am always available to answer via message, mails, short videos or even for the following course, to students who contact me outside of class for a reminder or advice on a concept discussed in theory or a difficulty encountered in a piece :) /! \ CANCELLATIONS-REFUNDS-CONDITIONS /! \ For parents who want to put their children to music to occupy them: I advise you to make sure that the motivation comes from your child in the first place! I happened to be confronted with children who did not really want to take these courses and so I had to stop because lack of motivation of the child and boredom very visible! If for any reason (on my side or yours) the classes are no longer given while you have paid for several lessons in advance, THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE REFUNDED BY APPRENTUS, who stores the money and gives me pay per course (which you confirm). So no worries on that side! If we do not finish all the courses you ordered, the non-courses will be reimbursed BY THE SITE! Thank you for your reading and your interest if you have read so far. Saxophone, music theory and improvisation - all levels
This course is for anyone that's interested to play the saxophone at any level, from the very beginners to students interested in more advanced topics such as improvisation, both in unconventional ways or more founded on the tradition of Jazz. The course will be adapted to the pupils goals and level, with a demanding but not overpowering approach. The frequency can also be optimized to the pupil's necessities: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly (not less). I believe that the main goal of a mentor should ultimately to make the pupil become his own teacher and establish an empatic two-way learning process.
