Music Theory for all levels: In this lesson you will get deep knowledge and understanding of music. Either you are a complete beginner, an instrumental performer, or you want to prepare for entrance exams into a music conservatories, these classes are perfect for you. Together we are going to read, listen and analyze music and work towards understanding it in a musical, structural and compositional level. In addition, for the instrumentalists that may join the class, we can even discuss and work on pieces that you are already studying at the moment, regarding on your musical interpretation, the piece's structure, analisys and time period.

Viola classes for all levels! My name is Raquel, and I am a graduate of the Viola Master at the Antwerp Conservatory. If you want to learn viola, this is your chance! We will start by knowing your level and what you would like to learn. From there we will work together as necessary. The most important thing is that you enjoy learning and playing music. I graduated with honors from the "Amadeo Roldán" Conservatory in Havana as a lute player, instrument teacher, and ensemble practice teacher. I also perform in the execution of the guitar, the piano and the Cuban tres, as well as group work. This class is aimed at those who are interested in learning music, either theory or practice. This is a discipline that requires rigor and demand, something without which it would not proceed. My name is Pilar, I am a pianist and piano teacher with extensive experience in the field of music education. The areas in which I move cover various styles and levels. I am specialized in the interpretation of classical music, as well as in questions derived from musical theory: language, harmony or analysis. A piano class for beginners. I have over ten years of piano and music theory experience and passion that I would like to use. Class units include: I. Develop Music Comprehension Skills: Teaching the basic music vocabulary, keys, theory, and techniques. II. Cultivate Motor Skills: Practicing chords, scales, muscle memory, using both hands, finger facility, and strength. III. Reading music: Practicing songs, chord building, intervals. IX. Integration: Combining all of these skills to read music and play beginners piano music, practice ear training, sight-reading, harmony, and advanced rhythms. X. Progression of song difficulty, and quantity and quality of pieces. Homework includes listening to songs to practice the Suzuki method and practicing scales, chords, and encouraging songs to be played 10-30 minutes each day.

Galamian) Welcome to my studio. Here you will learn everything you need to develop in the art of the violin. In addition, we will work on the sense of rhythm and hearing and I will offer you complementary documentation to introduce you to the fascinating world of classical music and the violin. My classes follow the Suzuki method, but I am interested in knowing about the student and their tastes in order to be able to provide the best study plan. We will use technical fundamentals and many practical examples. I am a graduate of RCSMM (Madrid) and DePaul University School of Music (Chicago) and I have had experience in orchestra, chamber music and as a teacher. I have played as a recitalist in venues both in Europe and the US and received a Fulbright scholarship for my postgraduate studies. I offer my classes in both Spanish and English in case you prefer a more bilingual experience.
