Because of my international education I have seen many ways and approaches to teaching music. But what I discovered is what I find most important:
The lessons and development are always based on the needs and wants of the student.

Do you want to be the best in your class? Then I'll show you mysterious tricks that not everyone knows!
Do you want to learn famous songs? Show me your favorite pieces, we'll do an adaptation!
Would you rather have fun without stress? I'll show you the best duos!
Do you hate bondage and classic melodies? Let's try latin songs!
Have you been unable to solve a particular problem for years? Come by to class and I will accompany you on your path of development!

Your ideas and communication are important to me! Come on over and we'll find out what you need!

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Hungarian | mother tongue
German | C1
English | B2
Dear language friends and "language enemies" :) I'm Édua, a music student from Switzerland, but I live in Strasbourg. For me, besides music, languages were the ones that have accompanied me since I was a child. Because I was born in Hungary, but thanks to my German-speaking school, I started German at the age of 7. I also tested my enthusiasm in competitions with good results, and my love for the German language helped me start my studies in Switzerland. So I spent 3 years there and immersed myself very deeply in the German language ... :) When I was 10, I also started the English language, which I also fell in love with. I use English the most in everyday life and I am currently preparing for an entrance exam for English Studies. I firmly believe that you can teach very well, maybe even better, if you have learned the language yourself. That's how I did it, I've studied both languages seriously since my childhood, looked deeply into grammar, listening tasks, understanding, etc. This is how I learned some tricks that I would share with you! I also know that language learning can also be exhausting. If you are more of a language enemy, but somehow still want to / have to learn :), I would be happy to help you get to know another side of learning. I was there too, had my own troubles, but I've also had so much success! That is why I strongly suggest that you have courage and begin to love languages! And if you still want to start something completely new and special, I can also help you with Hungarian;) Feel free to contact me if you are interested or need more information! I'm really looking forward to getting in touch! best regards Édua

EN: Young and experienced music teacher offer recorder classes and music education for kids and adults of all ages and levels! I am a Brazilian student currently in a master program of Early Music at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with specialization in recorder. As a music teacher I have a very good experience for more than 8 years giving private classes and regular classes in music schools. Developing an unique method for each student I propose dynamic courses that covers the most elementary until the professional level of the recorder for kids and adults in any age. The recorder is the perfect instrument to start on the world of music, especially for children. To be a very simple (which means that you can easily make sound with it), versatile and portable instrument it is perfectly suitable for kids, once they can play simple and beautiful melodies at the first or second classes! I propose rich and fun classes for children with recorder and theory of music in such a way that they can feel inspired and confident to move forward each class. For adults... If you are a complete beginner, don’t worry! I can teach you how to make the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow properly, the fingerings, posture, etc. creating, step by step, a very solid technique basis that will help you to play easily whatever you want in a near future. If you are an advanced student or have already the fundamental knowledge of your instrument, I propose an improvement of the technique making it more and more flexible accordingly to the repertory, explore the creativity and make your musical speech even more beautiful and convincing.

Classical Flute, Improvisation and Extended techniques
Born in Central Asia and raised in Europe, I am an international flutist with classical, contemporary and electronic music training , and several master degrees from Conservatories in Belgium and the Netherlands. I travel through Europe and Russia to play classical and contemporary chamber music. I see music as a way for people to connect with their own creativity and open themselves to their inner voice, their true self and their unique path. I am looking forward to sharing with you the joy of learning and letting your inner artist sing, wherever you might be on your artistic path. If you need advice on contemporary pieces for your final jury, if you are looking for ways to refresh your repertoire or to give a new direction to your practice, I will be happy to help! I love to guide you through the classics of modern repertoire, to teach my tricks to creative interpretation or free improvisation.

Markus
FLUTE/SAXOPHONE. Jazz/technique/improvisation lessons.
This class includes absolutely everything what the student is interested in terms of jazz and improvised music since the openness of Markus and thanks to the previous experience from CVA in terms of teaching and playing jazz in the Amsterdam Scene. Markus follows a more open-environment learning atmosphere whilst keeping the traditional teaching methods in mind. Technique exercises and information about the improvised music are the 2 pillars of the lesson. Also, its good to mention that the lessons are not what you'd expect from a traditional lesson. We rarely use paper in the lesson and the most important aspect is not the eyes but the ears. Since improvisation doesn't use paper, why would we use it in the lesson?

Cours de flute, piccolo and solfege suitable for everyone
Music is an instrument in itself to develop and progress in an emotional, motor and intellectual way, and it allows us to be always energetic and quick-witted. Music affects us all, regardless of age or anything, so you would not want to live the experience of entering the universe, learning music theory or playing such a great instrument as the flute or the piccolo, or improve your conaissences? Do not lose your opportunity, I can adapt to your needs and you can do the courses in Catalan, Spanish, English or French. I already have experience and I am graduated and studying a master of piccolo at KCB.

Daniel

Learn the Art of Celtic Music on the Irish Flute
With me, you will have the opportunity to escape to "Celtic" country for a lesson There are several types of Irish flute: (Tin Whistle, Low Whistle, Irish Flute) I will make you discover the beauty of so-called "Celtic" music by explaining everything you need to know. * The basics of this instrument (positions, interviews, breath control, etc.) * The many Celtic Standards. Indeed, there are many more or less difficult songs, but nevertheless very melodious :) If you do not have a traditional Irish flute, during a first lesson, I will be able to guide you on which flute to buy. We will obviously take into consideration your different wishes So if you are ready to deepen your knowledge, I will be happy to teach you what I learned :) NB: If you have a Boehm type transverse flute (transverse flute used in Classical Music), it may take more time to familiarize yourself with Celtic Music. I mean by that that certain positions, certain fingerings will be more difficult to play because of the keys of the flute ... But don't worry, we will find a way to overcome this difficulty. :)
