Hi, I'm Daniele, a saxophonist and teacher with a Master's degree from Italy, and currently a student at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. My course is designed for anyone who wants to discover the beauty of the saxophone and music in general, learning to play in an authentic and personal way. During the lessons, I focus on developing technical skills, but also on emotional expression, which is essential in music for me. Each student will have a personalized path, tailored to their needs and potential, so that music becomes a tool for personal growth. If you're curious to explore the world of the saxophone and music, I'd be happy to guide you on this journey!

Soy músico , vivo en La Haya porque he empezado mi Máster. Mi instrumento es la trompa (French Horn) pero se tocar también el piano y la trompeta. Es mi profesión, me apasiona y me gusta que mis alumnos se contagien de mi amor a la música.

My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students.
I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place!
If you are in The Hague area and you want to learn the cello or improve your playing, you are welcome to do lessons with me!

FIRST LESSON:
The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste.

TECHNIQUE:
Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge.
In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly!

Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun!

ABOUT ME:

I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota.
During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain.
Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio.
I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

I’m a student of Royal Conservatorium The Hague.
I am doing the bachelor of classical music and in parallel the career of teacher in primary education.
I offer myself to teach viola and musical language classes for all ages, adapting to the needs of each student.
I am a native of Spain and I am learning English, I still do not control it too much.
I can give the classes in Spanish and in English although due to a minimum of English under the price of the class.

We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation.

I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022.
Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood.
I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument!

Lessons
Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions.
I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation.
You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around.

When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun.
I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation.
At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing.

About me
Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020.
I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
My academic studies were built on classical music but I also have some experience in pop and rock music.

These are the paths I propose, but each student is free to develop what he/she wishes. I also complement the classes with musical language and harmony.

Every pianist should focus on being a complete and balanced musician. We must develop aural skills, sight-reading, mastery of musical language and harmony, composition, improvisation, creativity, a critical spirit, good taste in music, and above all, a passion for music.

Hello!! I'm Marina, I'm 25 years old and I'm currently based in Den Haag.
I studied flute at Musikene (San Sebastian) and Codarts (Rotterdam). I currently work as an orchestral and chamber musician between the Netherlands and Spain, collaborating with ensembles such as the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Residentie Orkest, Spanish National Orchestra, and the Basque National Orchestra, among others.

I love combining my performing career with teaching, and I have spent several periods teaching at professional conservatories. I offer private flute lessons for all ages and levels: from beginners to advanced students, including those preparing for entrance exams to higher conservatories.

During these listening sessions I will offer you some context about the piece, and some tools to listen to it more carefully, so you can learn and enjoy the music with a new perspective.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re just starting your journey or you already have musical training. You can propose the repertoire you would like to explore, or I can make a suggestion to start with.

For beginners and advanced players, I use the piano method: Microjazz (R&B/Pop & Harmony!). Microjazz also offers an online audio (play along), so you can play the pieces at home with the online audio accompaniment.

There's also the opportunity to learn about Harmony and Keyboard Voicings (chords/harmony and chord melody). These methods can be put into practice with Harmony Progressions (including with your own compositions/songs, etc.) to see how Harmony works with the concept of Functional Harmony and beyond.

We discuss where your musical preference lies and which way we are going. In any case, fun is paramount!

Classes are for all levels and ages. Online classes are also available via WhatsApp, etc.

ENGLISH:

For beginners or advanced, I use the piano method: Microjazz (R & B / Pop & Harmony!)
Microjazz also has an online audio (play along), so you can also play the pieces in your house, play along with the online audio.
