EvaViolin Lessons in Grenoble (all levels, no prior experience necessary)
Certified by the Royal Concervatory of Music in The Hague (The Netherlands) and experienced in teaching children and adults. During my studies, I have followed methodology courses and have attended a 'Colourstrings' workshop of the famous pedagogue, Geza Szilvay.
I am deeply passionate about teaching the violin and would love to continue to do so during my Erasmus exchange in Grenoble. I will be available until the end of June 2019.
During the lessons, we will focus on musical and technical development. We will train the ear and will look for a comfortable position for the violon. Of course, I will adapt the lessons to the student's wishes and level.
Caoibhe NíViolon irlandais - Irish fiddle lessons - Learn the history and repertoire of Irish music from a native!
Irish fiddle lessons from an Irish fiddle player living in Grenoble.
Pupils will learn about the history of Irish music, as well as regional styles as they expand their repertoire.
I have 3 years experience teaching fiddle and tin whistle to adults and children and have completed 1 year of a BA in Irish Music and Dance in the University of Limerick, Ireland. I prefer to teach aurally as I believe that it is very important to develop your ear as a musician, but I can also give notes if a pupil is struggling.
I am from Co.Donegal and am heavily influenced by the South Donegal style, I have a vast repertoire and love to pass on any knowledge I have to others!
