I am a student at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva. At the Paris CRR, I obtained my double bass DEM, my advanced cycle price, my concert cycle price specializing in orchestra as well as my CFEM in music theory. I want to give lessons in support of young people or adults in difficulty or needing motivation and dynamism in a good atmosphere with all the same rigor ^^ I would like to provide specific support to each student according to his needs, of his pace and his desire while requiring a minimum of work from one course to another :)

I am a professional contrabassist graduated with distinction from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU) and holding a bachelor degree from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in National University of Singapore under full scholarship. I have had a lot of experience teaching privately in Switzerland, Singapore, and South Korea. Hello! My name is Bjørk and I’m a professional double bass player living and teaching here in Amsterdam. I have 2 diplomas in Jazz Bass from Sweden and a degree in Jazz Bass Performance from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I love teaching and I have taught since 2016. And I love the bass! I teach double bass, electric bass, composition, improvisation and music theory. I have experience teaching complete beginners with zero prior musical knowledge to more advanced players.
