I offer musical awakening lessons in groups or alone. I am used to working with young children and my discovery activities start from 1 year old. Having been professionally trained, I acquired several educational and fun techniques to learn while having fun. Parents can participate in the early learning course, which will strengthen the bond and sharing with the child.

I'm a portuguese violinist and I'm doing my Master at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels. In Portugal I started also a Master in Education and I have a lot of experience teaching because I used to do it in Portugal. I had students from 3 to 25 years old, so I'm prepared for any level! This class is for beginners who love the violin and want to learn more about it and how to play it, or for advanced students that need some help to develop their technique. Don't worry if you don't know anything about music, I can also teach the theory in a very easy way.

I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences. I usually play four hands with my students as well and organize at least one concert a year with all my students where they can meet and share their experiences. Hello! My name is Aurel and I am a French Amsterdam-based drummer. Although currently specialized in Jazz music, I have studied various esthetics, and Pop and Rock music, in particular, are part of my background (I played in several pop-rock bands). Therefore I am able to teach a broad panel of music styles. I also have many drum methods and charts at my disposal, and have experience in teaching children from the age of 6, as well as teenagers and adults. Lessons and teaching method: I always adapt to the student's tastes and learning profiles. This is why, during the first lesson, and on a regular basis afterwards, I always take time to discuss with my students (or their parents if they are very young) to figure out together the path they want or need to follow. I will use charts and methods for those who need visual support to assimilate the skills or teach by ear and by demonstrating to the ones who feel more comfortable this way. I also play electric guitar and can jam with my students, which is a great tool for developing band playing skills or simply to have a good time. For those eager to make significant progress, I offer consistent and serious monitoring, with practice recommendations. I can for instance prepare a student for an audition or an entrance exam in a conservatory. If you are willing to improve your understanding of rhythm in general, you can also benefit from my knowledge of Indian Karnatic rhythm concepts, one of the most complete traditional approaches to rhythm. Students who simply want to learn at their pace, to have fun and unwind, are definitely welcome too! About me: In addition to my jazz drums bachelor and master degrees from the conservatory of Amsterdam (CvA), which included a thorough pedagogical training and a specialization in Indian Karnatic techniques, I benefit from 4 years of experience as an employed drum teacher in two French associative music schools (Ecole de musique de Nangis and Conservatoire des Deux Rives, Moret-sur-Loing). I am also an active musician, both on the Dutch and the French scene. My trio mainly tours in France and has played at venues such as the Sunside (Paris), or participated in competitions like the Keep An Eye International Jazz Award. I am also the co-leader of the sextet Chai Masters, finalist of several European competitions (Leiden Jazz Award, Golden Jazz Trophy in Lille, France, 7 Virtual Jazz Contest). I teach Entry level, Beginner, and Intermediate Piano and Guitar lessons. I focus on different styles, techniques, and rhythms, with a broad base of musical genre. These classes are designed for aspiring musicians with some musical background and also those with little or none. The aim of each lesson is to keep the student at the peak of each of their abilities by giving both challenging new pieces and reinforcing and expanding their own musical knowledge. I also put some emphasis on incorporating students' own personal musical tastes and styles to bring their own passion to the music they want to play.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Graduated in Guitar (Classical / Popular) by the Conservatório de Tatuí - Brazil, I have experience in Brazilian music and folk music, having worked as a teacher and interpreter in Brazil. I offer guitar lessons online and face to face, with a special focus on Samba, Chôro, Bossa Nova, the traditional Brazilian MPB and variant genres. Classes are aimed at people of all age groups without the need for prior knowledge. Will be approached in class the language of the genres with their rhythmic and historical specificities, studies of technique and musical theory. Classes can be taught in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
