من أنا؟

About me
I was born and raised in Manchester, England. I am 36 years old and have a passion for sports including football and gym. My interests are history, reading, martial arts and psychology.

Experience.
I have around 12 years experience in the education field, holding positions as a kindergarten teacher in a French International School in Tunisia. Helping to turn around several institutions in Cairo and Giza, I held positions such as Academic supervisor, Curriculum developer and School Manager. Previously the Operations and General Manager of an International Preschool based in Cairo were I was supervising four different branches and around 600 employees. I worked within the IB system as a Home-room teacher were I lead the PYP exhibition and was the PYP Discipline Manager. Formerly the Business Coordinator for a British company specialising in educational innovation. Most recently Head of Department for Pastoral Care,Well-Being and PSHE (Personal, Social,Health and Economics) at a British International school.

Education.
Studying at University I gained knowledge in Computing, Personal Training and Fitness Management. I hold several HE Diploma’s in Psychology, Criminology and Counselling. Additionally I hold a Level 2 NVQ in Public Services. I am a certified IB Home-room teacher, I hold the 120 hr certificate in TESOL. I have certificates from The Open University in Early Years team work & leadership, Young Peoples Well being and Teaching for good behaviour. I am Safeguard trained specializing in Child Protection in International Schools. Studying with Queensland University of Technology I completed Bullying in Schools and Phonics in Early Childhood programs.
