Graduated with Honors from Berklee College of Music (USA) Modern Harmony Lessons, Reharmonizations, Chord Scales, Passing/Substitution Chords, Improvisation. 40 years of career, on 4 continents. Numerous concerts and recording studio sessions. Compositions/arrangements/orchestrations and orchestral conducting (in particular for Rhythm Section, String Section, Brass Combos and Big Band). I would like to be able to transfer my knowledge to young and old people who want to improve their knowledge and virtuosity. I use the Berklee College of Music Methodology where I was trained for 8 semesters. Pragmatic and very professional approach: - Quick learning - Reading and understanding Anglo-Saxon notations - Reading of “Standard” scores - Rhythmic/melodic/harmonic analysis techniques - Construction of triad and tetrad chords - Use of harmonic voltages (9/11/13) - Use of passing and substitution agreements - Modal exchanges - Jazz Counterpoint - Construction and use of chord scales - Improvisation techniques (Jazz/Bebop/Blues) - Piano and Hammond B3 Organ specialty Courses intended for all musicians, whatever their level (from beginner to professional). Also courses in theory, harmony, arrangement and orchestration, intended for non-pianists. Standard course schedule: 0.5 hours theory + 1.5 hours practical.
