Learn The Craft Of Electronic Music Production - Beginner To Advanced (Ableton)

I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I am currently preparing to teach a masterclass at my school that will cover advanced mixing, mastering and sound design.

I work in Ableton and I have made or engineered everything from industrial techno to dubstep, acid rock to pop. As such, I am extremely flexible and can focus exclusively on what you are aiming to learn, regardless of what genre or subgenre you want to make. My approach is dynamic and changes depending on every student, but my aim is the same across all levels and types: to get you to love music production.

    For the beginners:
    -How to start your track
-How to make more than just loops
    -Sampling
    -Sound synthesis
    -Basic beat creation
    -Mixing
    -Use of effects
    -Plugins
    -Marketing
    -Mastering

For the intermediate to advanced students:
    -Multiband mixing tools
    -Advanced Mastering
    -Using sends as mixing tools
    -Advanced sound synthesis
    -Advanced social media marketing

More about me: I have worked in the music production field for the last 10 years. I have a recording engineering certificate from UCLA in California. I have scored two award winning short films, am currently signed to Subsoul Recordings and have ghost produced for over 20 artists, mainly in house and techno. My personal tracks have reached around 200,000 plays, and my ghost produced tracks have recently hit the combined 1 million + mark. I currently manage a deep house producer signed to Crosswalk Records.

SONGWRITING course with intensive and result-oriented methods
English Translation: contact me please Everybody generally consists of chords and lines of text. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hit or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you play 'what' guitar or piano, then you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antenna 's are always open :-) and for some it's a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and 2 sixes lines - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can get strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all, I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to write my science about songs, share it with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book with me for an hour. Then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

DJ class with a professional and passionate
With 10 years of experience on all DJing media and in different places in French-speaking Switzerland and abroad, it is with great joy that I transmit my knowledge and my passion for music. I am also very active on the Internet, with four sets of mixes, one publication per week. I developed a basic course of about 5 hours, ideal for beginners, to share the knowledge that I myself took 10 years to assimilate as an autodidact. At the end of this training, you will have everything in hand to realize your dream and mix in public. In addition to revealing the secrets that make the difference between good and bad DJ, I will also teach you how to discover music, where to get it and how to organize it. You would save money because I will tell you exactly how to choose your equipment according to your needs and where you get it at the best price. The students are all very satisfied with this course that I gave actively between 2012 and 2015 (see the pictures to read the reviews).

    Ableton & MaxMSP Lessons - in a͓̽m͓̽s͓̽t͓̽e͓̽r͓̽d͓̽a͓̽m͓̽
Ableton Live is a software music sequencer and digital audio workstation. In contrast to many other software sequencers, Live is designed to be an instrument for live performances as well as a tool for composing, recording, arranging, mixing, and mastering. Max, also known as Max/MSP/Jitter, is a visual programming language for music and multimedia. Over its more than thirty-year history, it has been used by composers, performers, software designers, researchers, and artists to create recordings, performances, and installations. Depending on your interest I will show you how to use and customise each program to your needs, but also show you how to combine the two in order to get the best of the 2 worlds. Ableton and MaxMSP are a killer combo for anyone that wants to: - expand their musical instrument with electronic extensions - create custom made controllers for their live performances - create complex automations for live or studio use - produce music, compose, arrange - create automated VJ sets to accompany their live performance - create a live looping performance - control backing tracks for live performances - work on generative music - program art installations and much more I will give you sets & patches with examples to accompany the lessons, but also help you build your own creations in MaxMSP or Ableton.

    Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / Theory - LOUKELELE MUSIC ACADEMY -
REGISTRATION NOVEMBER 2019 OPEN !!! The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, with a chain YOUTUBE and VIDEOS TUTOS, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste is not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example: We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original as by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. In addition to the YouTube channel and its tutorial videos that will be useful for reviewing after class, I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. Composition with Tom – Create Your Own Unique Music
Hello! I am an Amsterdam based musician offering tutorials in piano, trumpet, cornet, harmony, counterpoint, theory, and other general music-y things in English! I’m also available to direct rehearsals and concerts. As a composer I have a diverse range of skills. Whilst most of my work is contemporary classical concert music, I have a good grounding in tonal harmony and am experienced in writing music more typical of past eras and for events such as opening ceremonies and medals ceremonies. I also have knowledge of jazz, having worked in this genre. Lessons comprise of me examining the student's work, discussing it with them (how they've written it, what decisions they've made, what they wish the music to do and be), as well as discussing any suggestions I have to further enhance the effectiveness of the music and their ideas. Lessons can also involve examining works by other composers, giving the student inspiration and knowledge, as well as learning about different compositional techniques, which can include ways to deal with harmony, rhythm, texture, structure, and development of ideas. Please contact me to chat about your/ your child’s musical goals and ambitions and to arrange a lesson. I am able to travel to homes and offices and have a flexible schedule to meet your needs! I have also taught over Skype in the past, where there’s the option of screen sharing, making it possible to demonstrate things on screen. Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon! Thomas
