I'm a French speaker giving French lessons for young beginners. I think it is a perfect way to keep practising my English, while the student learns French. Moreover, being a psychology student, teaching a language can help be improve my knowledge about children and/or teenagers.
I usually adapt my lessons according to the student's comfort and preferences, but I usually like to mix theory and practice during the lesson. It can also take form of different activities according to the student's will.
For very beginners, it will mainly consist in learning vocabulary and simple grammar. As the student improves their skills, it'll progressively evolve to more grammar and talking.

Après 3 ans d'études de psychologie, n'y trouvant pas mon bonheur, j'ai décidé de me réorienter vers la traduction & interprétation.
Dynamique et créative, j'aime que mes cours soient interactifs et variés. J'organise mes cours autour de différents thèmes selon les choix et/ou besoins de l'élève, et alterne les notions théoriques avec divers exercices. J'aime aussi apporter des précisions et nuances que présentent les différents anglais, principalement britannique et américain... Je suis soucieuse du confort et des envies de l'élève, tout en gardant tout de même un minimum de directivité.
J'adapte toujours mes cours selon le niveau et l'évolution de l'élève; la langue dominera donc plus ou moins le cours en fonction de cela. Mon but est de créer une atmosphère de confiance, encourageante et épanouissante pour l'élève afin qu'il puisse apprendre de manière rapide et efficace.

After 3 years studying psychology, not finding my happiness, I decided to change orientation for translation & interpretation.
Dynamic and creative, I like my lessons to be inreactive and diversified. I organize them around different themes according to the choix and/or needs of the student, and alternate theory with various exercises. I also like to bring nuances and precisions that exist in the different English, mostly British and American... I make sure the student's comfort and likes, although I keep a minimum of directiveness.
I always adapt the lessons to the student's level and evolution, so English will be more or less spoken according to those. My aim is to create a sphere of trust, that's encouraging and enriching for the student, in order for them to learn English fast and effectively.

Je suis étudiante en première année de traduction & interpétation à Bruxelles, en spécialisation anglais & espagnol.
En plus de mon option de secondaire, j'ai suivi des cours d'immersion anglais de ma 3ème à ma 6ème année. Cela m'a permis de parler la langue très rapidement et facilement : j'étais capable de tenir une conversation au bout de 4 mois d'apprentissage ! J'ai également fait deux séjours en Angleterre en famille d'accueil, ce qui a boosté mon apprentissage et m'a permis de me familiariser avec quelques accents locaux.

Les cours d'anglais scolaires sont souvent très théoriques et peu interactifs. C'est pourquoi je propose une méthode allant de la pratique de base jusqu'à l'immersion complète, selon ton niveau et/ou ton évolution.
J'ai suivi des cours d'immersion anglais durant 4 ans, en secondaire, et j'ai trouvé la technique motivante et très efficace. J'étais capable d'entretenir une conversation courante au bout de seulement 4 mois d'apprentissage!
Je propose également des cours sous forme d'activités pour les plus jeunes, s'ils le souhaitent.
