I hold a Master of Music with Distinction degree in Vocal Performance from the Royal College of Music in London, and a Bachelor of Music with Honours degree in Vocal Pedagogy from the Moscow University of the Humanities. I am truly passionate about teaching singing and vocal technique! Hi my name is Osian and I’m a cellist from South Wales. I’ve taught children of many ages and standards and I really feel privileged to be a part of someone’s musical and personal development. Music lessons can be a way of reaching the concert platform or it could be a way of expressing yourself and being creative, wether it’s a career path or not. I grew up playing and singing where my first priority was to fall in love with music and learn to perform it to the best standard that I could do and that’s what I’d like to encourage my students to aim for too. I’m a BMus Hons Scholar from The Royal Academy of Music and I’m not studying at a masters lever at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

I learned a lot in helping. One of these things is that children learn faster through play and/or music. As a result, I have put together a special program to give children a good start in their language skills, or to help them improve them. Before the lesson starts, we will see how far developed the child is. When I have established that, we will first spend half an hour talking words based on pictures. The last hour is music central. We will choose a song together (children's songs) and learn it together. The more progress, the more difficult (language area) the songs will become.

In my classes you will be deciding what to study, how to learn and in which way you want to approach singing and music in general. You will have the freedom to set up a plan and reach the designated goals with the help of my support. I will show you and teach you different singing techniques and guide you towards finding your personal and unique voice. I give lessons (mostly 60 minutes long), which consists of learning proper technique and repertoire according to the student’s level and interest. I focus on sight-reading, improvisation skills and techniques of accompaniment. My students will be able to read and play from sheet music and chord signs. Former student at the Paris conservatory in piano, jazz/improvisation/classic and graduate of a bachelor's degree in music and musicology from La Sorbonne University, I would be delighted to share with you my passion for music. I already have a very good experience in teaching as I have taught in private schools and as a home teacher in Paris, with students ranging from 5 to 40 years old, and that over than seven years of teaching. Whether you are an avid music lover or a student at the conservatory wanting to improve your musical analysis, I will always approach my teaching in an entertaining and not too academic way. As a composer, she writes original compositions and arrangements largely for teaching purposes. The style varies from classical to jazz and pop.
