About Me

I started classical guitar at the age of 5, and piano when I was 18. There is no ideal age to start and my oldest student was 90!

What I like the most, is getting to know the student well, preparing every class according to individual taste, time for homework, abilities, and progression.
Everybody is different and nobody is constant during the learning process.

My lessons are well structured (improvisation, technique, repertoire) and I usually give personal work every week. I can be quite demanding, but it would be always with a smile :)

Ideally, my students get the chance to produce themselves in front of a small audience every semester. Public performances are always good for mastering a piece, sharing hard work with friends or family, and for managing stress. These are also great opportunities to meet other students!

Education

I have a Master degree in Music Pedagogy, specialized in Dalcroze's Eurhythmics Method.

I have been trained to teach music theory for groups, but in Geneva and in Barcelona I got the opportunity to teach guitar and piano individual lessons.

Experience / Qualifications

I am 35 years old and I have been teaching many kinds of different students. I like the group dynamics but I enjoy very much the privilege to guide individually every student on mastering the instrument.

Piano and Guitar Classes for Entry levels, Beginners, and Intermediates
I teach Entry level/Beginner/ Intermediate Piano and Guitar lessons with a focus on different styles, techniques, and rhythms from a broad base of musical genres. Classes are designed for aspiring musicians with some musical background and also those with little or none. Each lesson is designed to keep the student at the peak of their abilities by giving both challenging new pieces and reinforcing their own technical skill. I also put some emphasis on incorporating students' own personal musical tastes and styles to bring their passion to the music they want to play. In the first lesson, we can get to know each other and you can get an idea for how the lessons will be taught while letting me know what elements you'd like to focus on in the future.
