CarlaLearn how to play the violin and read music step-bystep!
I use a step-by-step teaching approach based on The Suzuki Method, personalised and designed for each student, focusing on individual strengths and talents.
My lessons incorporate music theory so that a deeper understanding of music can be met. This incorporation keeps the necessary theoretical component of music fun, interesting and alive.
Students receive structural practice material, as well as their own favourite music to practice and master with my help and guidance.
Teacher-Student duets are a fantastic and fun way to gain the skills needed to play with other musicians (Ensembles, Orchestra, Bands, etc.)
I aim to empower the student to be their own best teacher whilst integrating discipline with proven practice techniques necessary for a solid foundation in violin playing.

GustavoLearn to be creative on your game, and get to know another music world
I specialize in Latin American music. My goal is not only to teach the student to play guitar (or to help him further), but also to get acquainted with various folk music forms from Latin America both in practice on the guitar but also through listening and researching the various forms. For the advanced guitarist to further expand his knowledge within the classical repertoire from Latin America with unknown works and for those who are interested, learning to compose is also one of my goals. Music on its width. Not learning to play songs but composing your own work.

"I deeply believe in the greater importance of Music and in its ability to influence and shape who we are as human beings." -Daniel Barenboim
In my classes, the student will grow his/her love for Music and violin playing by a very conscious work on technique and musicality. As a student, I started through Suzuki Method, which I followed for many years as a child, kept growing illustrated by the Franco-Belgian players, and discovered the importance of physical observation and technical accuracy from the Russian playing. Far to often I have seen young talents spoiled by physical tensions and also technical perfection with lack of musicality.
It is my main objective to grow this two aspects in balance and combine a beautiful and encouraging repertoire with the necessary efficient exercises to free the body.
I have a Master of Music degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
I have students of all ages and they can tell their experience on their own.

NicholasSolfège & Hearing Training - Music Theory Preparation Courses
Solfège is one of these indispensable tools that contributes to the development of musical hearing. With that a basis can be formed for the general musical understanding.
Through my role as a student assistant of various theory subjects (including solfège) at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, I have had the opportunity to teach students with many different ages and backgrounds.
• The lessons are always in line with the environment and the theoretical knowledge that the student already has.
• Creative thinking is used in the lessons. This is done, for example, by improvising melodies or coming up with a second voice based on feeling.
• I also encourage critical thinking and listening. I do this by not giving too much pre-chewed information, but by an experiential approach.
• In practice I use different solfège methods (tonic sol-fa, or using numbers in a scale). My experience has shown that not every system is ideal for everyone. That is why I am flexible in my approach and I will always coordinate this
on my students.

SteinPractical and Fun Drum Lessons with a Personal Approach
Playing drums (or any musical instrument) comes with so many benefits to those practicing regularly. I've been playing the drums for over 10 years and have loads of experience playing live and doing studio work.
Studying psychology, I discovered a love for teaching and the science behind the acquisition of knowledge.
Being relatively new to teaching, I am most comfortable with beginners. Intermediate players are welcome as well, but for now, I am not ready yet to take on any advanced players. My teaching style is very relaxed and mostly focused on your personal progression rather than pushing through generic exercises just because ''everyone else does that too''. I mainly teach out of a musical context, meaning that you will quickly learn how to play along to songs and what purpose the drums serve within the music.
